Recursion RPeRz - Who do you thinks the best?

 This is a thread to say your opinions on the Present players, and who is the best rper as the title says.

I know I really enjoy Darminian's stuff.  But I've never RPed with him.  That's strictly a reader's perspective.

As far as actually rping with people, Vanil's the person I've done the most of that with.  And that's almost always some kind of pleasant or else I'd tell him to eff off.

In what sense? Commitment to Character? Story Arcs? Personality? Spelling?

Haven't had the most experience with all the rp's, but Tranque seems to be pretty darn commited to character and if Zippy is still around, he was always a good laugh from what i saw.

I'm probably biased, but I'd have to say that Tranque, my co-leader in Familia Grigori, is the best RPer I've seen in a very long time. You never know what he's going to throw at you next, and those mini-missions of his are always a blast.

Aside from that, I love Barnsley's character and how he presents the next chapter in his story: I've said it elsewhere, but Barnsley is practically the Barney Fife of the Matrix and he's always good for a chuckle -- but don't underestimate him: there's more going on than meets the eye, and I'm looking forward to where he takes this...

I have to agree with Dul... Kind of an open ended question.

One of my personal faves though is Barnsley.  Never seen him break character for anything.  And the amusement.  Classic.

I was just being funny with this thread, but it's actually popped into a serious discussion!

I'll go ahead and give ourselves a pat on the back.  The Trust is the finest collection of RPers I've ever had the pleasure of playing with.  Every character has a great backstory and I'm loving how all the current RPs are tying into each other.

Outside of the Trust, I'd have to say Void.  I really miss the old pre-server merge Devil's Advocates RP the most, though.  Back then, I think they really framed what it was to be a Merovingian operative.  None of this exile/lesbian vampire RP that ran rampant in the Gothique days.  They were a two-timing, backstabbing, crime family...  the kind of people you could see associating with someone like the Merv, treating him like he's the Godfather.  I miss Return, Coraxian, and Kabell.

Quoted for truth.  Between Turnabout, Redemption, Extrication and Stockholm, everyone's just weaving in and out of each other's threads like crazy.  Plus we have a number of other unrelated backstories and margin arepees going on as well.  I love it.

And while I've only read Void's latest stuff, he's definitely a noteworthy part of the the Next Renaissance forums that I enjoy.

Anybody from pre-civil war DA gets my respect. Tranque's RP, to be blunt, annoys the crap out of me, although I'm probably biased by his confusing style of never making alts for his alts... and that I don't enjoy his holier-than-thou OOC attitude.

Zippy to be quite frank, I never was really quite OOC with you, when I am ingame 90 percent of the time I am tranque. Secondly your RP style consists of you pretending you have paws from time to time..

Mm, Void has some of the most jaw-droppingly great writing I have ever seen, and you never know what Tranque is going to throw at you next, which keeps the Familia on its toes in a good way.

Hee, I have to give credit to WGAnubis (miss you, Pops!) for helping me create Sieges's dark side, Morraeon, as well as giving me a few tips for the transformation sequence between the two personas: jackout>Noninfectious Flame Virus effect>change clothes from Sieges's cutely conservative gear to Morraeon's Gothic sexiness>Detection device effect, then going from ./mood casual to ./mood cocky. But now Morrae has been teased out of Sieges's head and into her own RSI (ie. I have an alt for her), so the two no longer tag-team an RSI.

Also, a composition of individuals and factions lost to the code, yet without which there would not be as immersive an environment and atmosphere which makes the stories that much more fun to watch unfold and to be a part of.
