MxO: Turf Wars - Guillotines vs. Legion vs. Disciples

The Event:

Gang wars are breaking out all over the city.  With Richland still in the wake of a deadly battle between the Demon Army of Tabor Park, the Crossbones of Moriah Projects and the Blackwoods, calamity has befallen Westview as three more neighborhood gangs prepare to spill the blood of each other, and anyone who stands in their way!

Information:

This is the second in what will hopefully be an ongoing series of PvP battles between Zion (The Guillotines), the Machines (Legion), and the Merovingians (The Desciples).  RSI Captures will be provided for all participants, while they fight each other as representatives of each respective street gang.  The gang that lasts the longest will be declared the winner, regardless of how long the brawl lasts.

Participants are allowed to use any ability tree or build that they desire.  They are also allowed to rez, buff, pop pills, etc.  Anything goes!  If the event is successful, then expect to see other gangs go to war with each other throughout the city, as Turf Wars continues on.

Event Time, Location:

The event will take place in front of the Sobra Shores Church, at 3pm MCT (Pacific) on Saturday, January 10th.  For those of you who don't like to do the math, that's 4pm Mountain, 5pm Central, 6pm Eastern, 11pm GMT.  Everyone signing up for this event is asked to do so by replying to this thread, so that reminders can be e-mailed out in-game as necessary.

Other Notes:

Anyone wishing to help out may do so by helping farm Jezebeth, Sylphia and Marcel Petiot RSI Captures and e-mailing them to Ilea on the Syntax instance, who will be conducting this event.  Also, any/all advertising that can be provided for this event would be helpful.

How is a winner declared? When you die is that you out?

If you die, you're not out.  You're more than welcome to reactivate the RSI Capture and rejoin the fight.

Over the course of the battle (as is inevitable in PvP), people will get tired and give up, leaving the scene of the fight.  As a result, the gang that sticks around the longest, with the most winners, will be delcared the winners of the gang war.

The Merovingians won the last Turf War match, as the Demon Army.  However, that was on Recursion, where the population is in an entirely different state than that of Syntax.  This time, the winning gang will be anyone's guess.

I missed the one on Recursion, maybe I'll manage to get into this one!

Phrack, all Z-man drama aside, major props to you for setting up and running these events. The game needs more content and events, no thanks to the majority of LESIG who no longer jack in or provide any interaction. So to you: thanks.

Hm. I doubt I'll be able to get Sieges's Syntax self up to a reasonable level before tomorrow, but I'll see what I can do with The Provisioner....

Was 15 mins late on logging on, hope i ain't missed it

Two players showed up, Zion and Merovingian.

After a significant wait for other players to show up, I let the Merovingian (Streaky) choose Even or Odd.

Use of /random rolled the number 82, thus declaring the Disciples (Merovingians) the winner of this event.  Hopefully by the next time Turf Wars reaches Syntax, there will be more player involvement.  Thank you to the players that attempted to get involved!  The Disciples will be going on to the Round One Championship in February.

Dammit. Will take a bit for people to pick up on it. Maybe a /shout at mara c and hour or 2 before it.

Thats a shame, people didn't show up, me and 8ayamo were gonna come too, but we were stuck in farmming limbo as we couldn't get the RSI capture to drop

My bad luck with the rolls is legendary. I guess The Merovingians were meant to win this round and deciding on going even was the difference. Let's see if the Vector war shows more participants as it was the case at Recursion.

Couldn't come to this. MxO decided it didn't want to let me press the accept button to login (it was greyed out??) so I had to reinstall. Working now, can't explain why that happened though....

Well duh, I remembered that the event was to begin in like half an hour. Guess what. Half an hour later I forgot about it >_<

I couldn't show due to work shifts. Count me in for the next one on Syntax though.
