Nope. Best thing you can do is delete them off of that server and remake them on Syntax.

Many, many people have requested it over the years, at least as long as I've been playing. In that time the only response from them is that it won't happen due to resources or something.

16 seems fine, me personally i'd say maybe 20 or 25 but we have all went through it. Lvl 16 takes you down to Appy area and then over to Westview or Int. The dead places on vector 
I'v just recently lvl'd over on syntax and when i was over there, there was pretty much no lowbie pvp. Best bet is to buckle down and grind on vector, instead of sitting at a bench as lvl 15 at mara 
I couldn't wait to be hostile, with each of my chars. Just got my last char to lvl 17, can't wait for the fun filled times i'll have while mishin (i hope

The response was along the lines of " we tried it before and it didn't work out to well. There was a chance that the character and all of the stuff that went with him wouldn't make it" after elaborating, " we don't want to mess with the database any more than we have to"

We've seen a lot in the past few months that show that changes can mess up the database. I'm not gonna pay to move a character if they're gonna end up as a bald, naked lvl 1.

It's not really the existing staffs fault as much as SOE's they pretty much give Rarebit and anyone else who's on the team a spork pack of bubblegum and a magnifying glass and expect him to macgyver this game.
I really debate the whole 1 server thing....I've herad many ideas like making 2 of the 4 districs Hostile or special constructs...but I kind of like it the way it is now...I just wish Vector had more people on it...It gets really quiet at night.
There are a few MMO now which offer the server transfer service for a free. I am sure some ppl would be willing to pay a minimal fee to get a character transfer...?
Only problem would be Inventory contents etc. Or we would have the same problem as with the idea of merged mail for across the servers could end up with an economy crash on the servers and like 8 assassin masks on one server etc etc etc.
I would still like a transfer option though! Coz I am naughty like that hahaha!
