I think the author of that article missed the whole point of what RSI means and he's getting it muddled with body image dysmorphia. Yeah, if you have poor self-image of your body, that *could* in theory affect how you view yourself in the Matrix, but if you're a Redpill, you've started to move past that. Besides learning to bend and/or break the rules of the Matrix, which would dictate their body image, most Redpills (except maybe a certain pint-sized Merv girl on Recursion :: Winks:: ) have most likely started to develop the sort of self-confidence that allows them to have a stronger mental image of themselves. That and I also remember some missions were reference was made to a woman who was born in the Matrix as a man, even though her body was female in the Real (probably Switch).
Yeah, I pretty much modelled my Recursion main's RSI on my real-world appearance (same gender, same hair color, same build -- except I wish there was one size *smaller* for the female body types, since I'm thin but shapely in an Audrey Hepburn sort of way). I *do* watch my weight, but it's more for a health thing than for appearances: there's heart disease in my extended family, so I have to prudent about it.
I know for a fact the internet doesnt make me feel fat.
The fact im a guy with larger mamaries than most girls i know does though.
Dispite the fact i am overweight i seem to keep enough muscle and agility to lift more than my own weight as well as being a qualified levl 7 trampolinist... so just goes to show you can judge a book by its cover :p
