Ex MxO super vet, and resident webmaster of a little site known as http://www.thematrix.rumbaar.net, Draconis, recently made a post on the Rumbaar Forums regarding his intention to upgrade the site to a whole new codebase with improved features and user controls. If it happens or not? Its up to you as his post includes a poll regarding popular opinion over the idea. Have your say today and you may well be seeing a new and improved Rumbaar soon!

I still use Rumbaar too for certain information about MXO. I'd love for the site to be more compacter, but this might be a personal preference. I like it when websites are easy to navigate and read.

I like the site as is, but sometimes it gets a little wonky in IE. However, as good as it looks now, I'd be excited to see an updated version.
In fact, I'd like to volunteer my meager ability with coding, sql db admin, and graphics to help out if an extra pair of hands would be useful.
If an example of my work is needed, here's my most recent (MxO Player's Guide designed for DN1 using SOE CSS).

hope it gets updated too

Oh cool the maps work again.
Yes they work again. In a previous update some of the key javascript was removed. I've since returned that code and incorporated it into the site design. Still have to work on the onload feature, but I might just leave that out. If people want they can wait the few seconds for the rollover image to load. Will save on bandwidth as well.
Now MxO community, I've done my bit ... can you all do your bit? It's a shame that the majority of people can post that the data is out of date, but not one person has supplied any change of data information. Not even for one item. If just one person gave one piece of information, then it would make the take a little bit easier.
But I've once again taken upon myself to look after a game I still have a deep lying passion for and re-subbed for at least a month. I'll try to get as much information as I can. Screenshot the hell out of the game and then make the changes.
I wish there was a easier way, maybe some direct communication and information from the MxO devs themselves would be a benefit to me. Special in regards to information I can't readily get, like if I wanted to to include all the extra enhancements you get when you level abilities. I know games like EVE Online supply a wealth of information to their user base for people to develop kits and out of game resources. Wish this was the case for MxO.
But alas we get the resources our MMO population deserves ... where the less they supply the less players and in turn less money is pumped in. Seems like a self for-filling prophesy.
Also to add, and I'll be posting it in general as well so possibly more people can see it, does anyone have the Sentinel archived from the 25 September 2005 edition to the one before the current. I've archived and made them available but need the ones in between ... if there were any of course.
Also please feel free to suggest any changes and/or missing features that were on the old site or want for the new one. As I most likely want be able to post here after a month, it's easy to register and post any feedback on my site. Hope to see and hear from you all.
