I logged in at about 0100z, and everyone was infected with the "Flame Virus", aswel as being flagged.
What was the cause of that?

I agree completley, griefers are terrible, horrible, stupid people. I even think they should be put to death on the spot IRL. Standing around spreading a virus intentionally that hurts other player's characters, making patcher sims at tournaments simply because you don't like the host of the tournament, and people that are just non-stop rude all the time. Really is a shame people can't take a look at things in a third-person kind of perspective on the situation. Maybe then they'd realize how foolish they're acting.Edit: Nul

That's why the live event was so annoying .. people were running around forcing flags on other people who had no interest in pvp. And then killing them. And /suicide and /jackout? Are you serious? I should /suicide every time some idiot runs over to me and sets me on fire? So I can waste time in the loading area and jack back in just so he can do it again? That's supposed to be fun? For whom, exactly? You don't need to answer that last one.Yes they do have a point, they have the right to attack you if you are red to them. You also have the right to /suicide or jackout so that you are not flagged anymore since we are not on a hostile server.
Grace of Darkness wrote:I'll assume you meant "annoyed *at* griefing".Asna I know you are annoyed and griefing, I was just answering your question not trying to shut you down. Most of it was aimed toward ShiXinFeng anyways. Like I said though that sounds like harrasment to me and I would have ccr'd it.
And I don't /ccr people lightly. I can put up with a lot of annoyance before I turn the key and press the red /ccr button. Griefmas didn't quite rise to that level of harassment. It just came off to me like a once-a-year holiday for griefers to run amok and tick off other people .. fine, haha, they had their little fun. Now we can go back to being a non-hostile server again./as
