So what was last night all about?

I logged in at about 0100z, and everyone was infected with the "Flame Virus", aswel as being flagged.

What was the cause of that?

Because they got crossed and you got the short end of the stick, your acting out?

I really don't see the point in complaints. Why if the server had crashed or your power went out, would you act out to the Devs or your electric company?

I for one did not go around "looking" for people to infect and catch on fire on purpose. It has been so long since the Flame virus was in the Matrix, i wanted to keep it around for a little while.

Some of us actually enjoy the old school stuff brought back from time to time.

As for the griefers, doesnt suprise me one bit. These kind of things really show you who are the idiots amongst a community.

They probably didn't know that you had to/ had done that. Not that i justify it, but I don't think it was personal. Although, if you did tell them to stop for those reasons, then I can understand your fustration!

On a non-hostile server, I pay for the right to NOT be red. That's why the live event was so annoying .. people were running around forcing flags on other people who had no interest in pvp. And then killing them. And /suicide and /jackout? Are you serious? I should /suicide every time some idiot runs over to me and sets me on fire? I'll assume you meant "annoyed *at* griefing". 

And I don't /ccr people lightly. I can put up with a lot of annoyance before I turn the key and press the red /ccr button. Griefmas didn't quite rise to that level of harassment. It just came off to me like a once-a-year holiday for griefers to run amok and tick off other people .. fine, haha, they had their little fun. Now we can go back to being a non-hostile server again.
