Vector, for experienced players only?

I'm new to MxO, played on Recursion for a week or so. Just wondering about Vector, is it all "kill-everything-you-see"? Is it recommended that you know MxO very well before you even try playing on Vector?

I'm alittle interested in maybe playing on Vector, thinking about good old Ultima Online days where you basicly could attack anyone (but had some consequences). Made you stay alert even doing trivial things SMILEY

You have until level 16 to decide as thats when you get permanently 'flagged' for pvp.

You'll have made up your mind if it's for you by then.

Give Vector a go, you wont regret it !!

When i bought MxO I was a total noob to mmo's. First and only one i have played. When i saw the hostile part to the server i knew it was the only place to go.
Come on, games are about violence and bein scared outta u'r wits.
Fair enough, at lvl 16 there is no chance u can take out anyone >4 lvls above you but just the hostile part makes it more fun. Yes i said it, fun. Wheres the fun runnin about as a lvl 25 and seein a group and the group doesn't react. Vector makes you grind harder because u want to take on the people that have killed you.
So to answer u'r question, no u don't need to be experienced to play but we are experianced (well some of us

) so watch it

Your going to benifit from a Vector experience if your new. It may be hard but trust me leveling isn't as horrible as people from the non hostile servers make it out to be.. the majority of people when they see your on alot making an effort will most likely even just stop and say hi to you let alone attack you.

It's a fun server to play on and as Rarebit rescently stated the population is starting to go up along with the fun factor with it.

Yeah figure everyone who can kill you, will kill you several times then kinda leave you alone unless you run off at the mouth then you'll always get it. Some people though will always kill you and thats the way it is, but if your around enough, the ones that did, will even protect you if possible cause most who are left are pretty good peeps all and all.

Have fun and some laughs along the way and vector is very enjoyable.

I'd say so yep, I wouldn't let any Machines tell ya they have the lowest Population anymore since they are getting quite a bit larger.

But in all fairness it depends on the timezones, sometimes there will be a lot of Zion on, sometimes a lot of Mechs on, sometimes a lot of Mervs on and just sometimes all orgs will have people on.

Ya, what he said, tho don't let org population sway your path, I would go check this thread it shows the Live events that have been played out over the yrs here. Go thru the last month or so if you want to know which way the orgs are heading and what their doing. That will give you a better chance of makeing your own proper choice.

It's all about timezone machines are fine right now my advice is stay away from the machine storyline though its kind of boring... heck of a way to start off your time in MxO when theres so many other fun options.

Vector FTW in my opinion more of a spontanious Server. I think the feel of the matrix is captured more in VECTOR as since when in the movies did NEO have to type /pvp to fight? Hmmm? lmao!

Anyways if you do decide to give VECTOR a go and get a feel for the PvP and like it.

Tony, I think you have it mixed up. My daemon had a slight malfunction, resulting in an undiserable effect. You didn't understand the situation and I forgive you for your slight miscalculation. Heehee.
