The market on recursion is so out of whack. The other day I was going through the marketplace in order to check the prices on health pills, I hit the "go to" button for the consumable pills and my computer froze, when it stopped I hit the "go to" button again, but the game got lagged or SOMETHING because I actually hit the "buy" button and purchased the first item on the list....which happened to be a 400,000,000 $info Antibiotic 1.0 All I have to say is...WOW....Obviously this was a setup for someone who would screw up (like I did) with enough cash to make the purchase. So I submitted a /ccr in the hopes of POSSIBLY being reimbursed of the $info, but no luck. They said that it's impossible to trace where the item came from so I'm screwed out of 400,000,000 $info that took me about 4 years to make (i don't do anything but missions).
I'm not here to complain about how the devs couldn't reimburse me, but I'm here to complain about the market system itself, isn't there somethat that can be done to stop price gouging/setups like the one I fell for?
Been there, done that. It's a good idea to be veeeeeeeeery careful when you browse the marketplace; never rush.
On a side note, if you're level 50 it's now possible to make money really quickly in Datamine. You could re-acquire the 400+ million $info you lost with a few days of hardcore datamining.

Yeah I guess your right but I never have any more time anymore to do anything so I'm pretty much screwed.
lol someone, somewhere just hit the jackpot with me
I am sorry to hear about the issue your friend has accidentally bought a pill. This is indeed commendable and I am sure they appreciate your loyalty towards your friend. Unfortunately, we will need to talk to the account owner of this issue directly, as there are things we need to ask them specifically to gather information. Please be aware that Game Masters cannot discuss issues regarding another customer's account with any third parties. Please ask the player who is facing the issue, to file a petition in this regard. You will have to ask this player about any resolutions that were made regarding their petition.
If you have any further questions or if there is anything else that we can do for you please do not hesitate to contact us again.

I suspect some people put stuff on the marketplace with inflated prices in order to just store it on there, but I have a sad feeling too many do it see if they can rip off the unsuspecting.
If you give them the date and time you made the purchase they should be able to see where the money went. They're checking that sort of thing in order to reimburse Cap0ne's victims, I'm sure they could check for you too.
Thank you for contacting Matrix Online Customer Support!
I am sorry to hear that you accidentally purchased an item from the Marketplace for 15 million $info. I am afraid, there is hardly any assistance that we can offer in this case as we do not have provision to revert a trade. All trades are final in Matrix Online. One of the major reasons, why we do not revert trades is that when you purchase an item from Marketplace, you are not actually purchasing the item from an NPC but from another player and we cannot remove the $info from the player who sold the item.
In order to avoid such mishaps, in the future, I would recommend that you avoid multiple clicks when you face lag as these clicks gets saved and comes into play when lag ends and may give rise to unanticipated results.
We appreciate your patience. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again.
Those evil scammers, let's get together and ban them for good. How dare they exploit the marketplace!
I'm feeling alot of sarchasm in that post for some reason
A simple window that asks "Are you sure you want to spend 500 mil info on a code bit 3" would solve the problem. It cant be difficult to add surely
I'm sure that this simple (and completely logical) feature can be found in nearly every other MMO out there, and should have been in place since launch. It would have saved a lot of people a lot of grief
