To be honest I've always preferred to have at least some visible underwear when wearing those skirts, it's like the base underwear a female rsi has just disappears when putting on a skirt etc... There is nothing under the old Gi, there is nothing under the current miniskirt, double standards on that reason to add pants.  And punishing players who liked the pantless version because of the idiocy of a the guy creating the clothing who thought it would be ok to remove the underwear when anything similar is put on in a game where legs a flailing all over as part of the MA tree isn't fair either.

At least leggings could have been worn before hand to cover your dignity if that does worry you, now there is not even a choice.

because i think that is crossing a path that should not be crossed.  if they complain and gripe about something being too racy or too revealing when it was in the movies. then maybe they should be put on a different server or something....

just kidding; but it is an idea. children could play there without ever coming into contact with cake, guns, any kinda of violent behavior at all. u somehow have a limited pvp where it automatically stops right before u die. no moods, make the rsi's a lil more cartooninsh, even have some cute animals that they can become, puppy dogs and kittens to play with. : P

SOE suck?  Why would SOE waste money, time, resources on a game that never had mass appeal, is now three + years old and is never likely to gain new players.  We have repeatedly been informed that many of the things that could transform the game, simply aren't possible; not because of money, but because of the coding.  SOE have kept this game alive far longer than, in truth, it has deserved.

And yes, I love MxO, I play it once in a blue moon nowadays, but I'm not blind to the fact that it is a game that has zero potential even if SOE threw millions at it (Complete recode of the game and re-release as MxO2 wouldn't even do any good considering the rather anachronistic charm of the Matrix Franchise).

Nevertheless, back on subject, regardless of whether 50% Like the new Gi, and 50% hate it, this change has removed individual choice.  I have no real preference, but I'd like to be able to choose whether I wanted to wear a legless Gi or a full Gi as it gives me options.  In a game wear you can simply remove all your clothing and wear underwear only, this change seems absolutely illogical.  Why, exactly, was it changed?  To appease a minority group who had a preference for X over Y?  Why was the choice not simply implemented into the game so one could have X or Y as one would wish.

when our freedom of choice is taken away, we as people tend to get upset.

u have been promoting pants on the gi for quite some time. the devs put pants on them and you liked it but u misunderstand that when u say things like the gi's look 100% better, u are not realizing that freedom of choice was taken away.

we no longer have a choice to have the original gi- that is not 100% better, the gi with pants is not 100% better, its cleaned up, yes, but not better.

there was not an option, true but it wasnt an issue. it is same as an agent suit being purple or apple green.

those colors dont exist in the agent suit so u can say that we dont have a choice.

no one wants or thinks about those colors.... its an agent suit (except mary and kim)

but if all of a sudden , the color of the agent suit is changed and mary and kim like it, the heck with everyone else, its more colorful and therefore 100% better.

so we post about where is the choice in that? we liked the agent suit the way it was... change it back or better yet, give us the original color back!

all mary and kim want to do is voice their opinions as facts and make fun of people who liked things the way they were.

A lot of you are getting confused on this "clothing slot" business.

Rarebit has a HUGE supply of slots where he can add re-textured clothing.  Like putting a new skin on an already existing model.

However, he has a VERY LIMITED supply of clothing slots for new models.  The gi with pants and the gi without pants are different models, not skins.  He was able to add pants because he changed the model, leaving him with the same amount of model slots taken.  He would have to take up another model slot if he put both pants and pantsless gis in game.

The 30-something new clothing he just added to the game were re-textured using already existing models.

Also, it's important to note that "body paint" is not a new model.  It's just a retextured version of skin on the RSI.  Therefore, the wrappings on the gis and the new shoes and the commando gear aren't new models, even though clothing has never been seen shaped like that before.

i am all for taking up another clothing spot for the original gi. i think it is worth it!

is this game going to last another 4 years? what is good at the end of said 4 years, when u have a total of 45 subscriptions and they dont play the game at all but u still have clothing spots left.

take up another clothing spot, give us the original gi back with some new skins on them, make them more buff than the sati playground ones and a special edition one.

ideas on skins: red/gold, black/blue, one with matrix code on it and a tattered one in various colors. (on a personal note, i would like to see a hacking gi with appropriate accuracies and damages)

if u can reskin existing clothing as many times as u want, by all means; reskin, reskin, reskin! broaden the pallette, it is all good!

max out the clothing spots, it is a good idea because... people are leaving, it is time to have a party! : D

u can then concentrate on story, missions, quests, side quests and live events.

and when u find that the game has 45000 new subscribtions because u did that, then u can go to soe, tell them u have a problem and they can contract 2 guys to come down, crack the game open, re-write a code here and there without breaking the game, build some kind of extra clothing spots and put it back together.
