I think we saw it tonight, near Old Zion. But, judging by his speed, he could be long gone by now.

If that was him, I sure as hell wouldn't want to fight that.

Possibly the Zion and maybe even the EPN captains who successfully transferred Lock back to New Zion may get their dues from your controller in this mission.

Do elaborate please!

Hmm I'm on the verge of crossing from l35 to l36 so I'm gonna have to sit the rest of this chapter out if I'm gonna access the new Binary Boy stuff so mission reviews would be nice - Nicksie, I'm counting on you more than ever!

A great critical mission, love the ones where you take part in operations in the Real even if it is from the Matrix. Hope Halborn is tracked down in the next crit then the story is really moving along.

((This crit was AWESOME. Apparently my crew's the one that initially tailed Halborn after the battle, being that I had the only ship on the Zion/EPN side that got disabled and would have had to leave to make repairs. Thankfully, this does not make my ship the poor crew that came back after him after being disabled and was... destroyed. Poor folks. I'm assuming that was Ramin's crew from the live event on Tuesday?))

Today, we mourn the loss of a faithful Zion crew who did all they could to gather information on Halborn's craft after my own people located him following Lock's escort... I'm done with my indifference towards Halborn, now. We will not let this crew's sacrifice be in vain.

EDIT: Mission summary posted.

((I think it's great the added bits and pieces of info like that, hopefully more will come of LESIG events being included or noted in LE's and Crits.))

During the first part of the mission, one of the Zionites said, "Cypherites and Machinists caught up with the EPN and Zion ships exchanging Lock between old Zion and New Zion.  There was one hell of a battle.  They're still trying to sort out who's in one piece."  Also, there were similar statements made in the other orgs' new critical missions (saying that the outcome is still unclear).  And there was no mention of the Mervs participating in the battle.  So I think that all of the dialogue was written before the battle took place.

Well that crit was pretty dang awesome, the parralels with the operation in the real really made it feel like we were a part of something, actually moving the story along instead of just discussing the current week's news while fighting a few npcs here and there.

((Yeah, I think we'll see the outcome in the next crit. We can't really expect Rarebit to wait to write a major part of a critical mission about seven hours before it's due out. Also: What was the deal with the phone that didn't say anything but "..."?))

Think that was there as a phone for the operative to contact their captain through. Little more than a nod to the movies.

(( From what I understand, all critical missions for a chapter are done and uploaded at the same time. So we won't hear the results of the battle until 10.2.1 at the earliest. ))

Yep.  All the criticals are added with the patch at the beginning of the subchapter.  They are timed to be made available to players every Thursday.  I think at 2:30 AM PST.
