His health regen seemed right for this event, I was actually pleased to see when I jumped down to attack him that he had regenerated all his health again. I didn't get a chance to look at his health to see if it was any higher or not.
The hype- jumping wasn't terribly hard to keep up with either, until I was shot in the face by Smith Virus. I and a few others stayed on him fairly well.
The Smithling spam, though, I don't think was quite high enough. It was better towards the end, but a small handful of Smithlings didn't do a whole lot against an entire server of players.
And way to go picking the largest region server.
I can't think of anything else to add, but I enjoyed it much more than the Recursion event.

Or make him level 255 and make it insanely tough. Unfortunately, unless it lasts like one and a half hours plus, I'm not gonna make it to this one, just like all the previous ones.

Probably the best he could do is try to lead people through a chase of the White Hallways, but that'd probably get annoying.Well i logged in as my alt with the hope i'd be able to upset a whole server and steal a killshot with a level 15, no luck but it was...... actually worse then recursion for me lol, i didn't even find the right area until it was essentially over, and the smithlings converted me before chewing me up and not bothering to spit me out. But at least the event seemed to last longer on syntax.

The attack ... sorry.. killing rate would be bigger if he uses a 1500 with a better re-use timer.
Smith doesn`t need uber abilities like that. he`s just too cool for that. : )

Oh, one thing I was kind of hoping to happen was perhaps a little chat before the shooting begins. I know he did a bit of that last year, but I haven't heard of it this year.

I've kinda skimread over these posts so I apologise if I'm repeating what's been said.
First of all it was a great event though if I couldn't stay up to nail the big ol' Smith virus, but I had fun taking down Smithlings with people, even though I could barely scratch them it was good fun and I even managed to get a killing blow on one!!
So was the "Smith Virus" basically Rare running round as a l100 Smith - 'cause if so that's actually the first thing I saw in the event!! I was tracking down Smithlings and a "Smith Virus" of abovesaid level raced past me and hyperjumped away, didn't twig until later that it might have been the head honcho.
What was with the flaming junk piles, are they s'posed to be Smith's "negative effect on the system" or something like that, they were a nice addition and a good marker for finding the Smithlings!
All in all a lot of fun and a nice chance to work together with folks against a common enemy.

(An idea for Rare),Put him in mastershadow..if not for the event..then for screenshots..however if you did use mastershadow it would prolong the violence...
Flaming smith virus+mastershadow + bullettime screeny with the FM1500= win...
maybe my imagination is just running a little...

Wow, Was fun seeing the event again this year. I was surprised at how fast Vector was able to chop him down. I think our Smith Virus only lasted 40 some odd minutes. Man there were alot of Lv. 79's they pack a nice little punch if your not looking.
