I've taken the liberty of setting up the MxO Recursion Xfire Clan for all members of the Recursion instance, and it is now available for anyone to join as they wish.

If you are not familiar with the Xfire Clan system, those with an existing Xfire account may join an Xfire Clan and instantly be added to a specially-categorized list of users within the new clan/group. This special category will be listed in your Xfire Messenger, allowing you to see all members of the group at all times. This helps new members of the clan learn quickly who's who on the server.

In addition to this, the new Xfire Clan Calendar allows for important events to be scheduled within the group, so instant notifications can be sent to everyone with a clan membership. This will allow members of Recursion to schedule player events, tournaments, live events, meetings, special notices, or whatever else they would like to inform the rest of the server of in a hurry.

If anyone would like to join this new clan, please feel free to do so by logging into the http://www.xfire.com website, using your Xfire login/password, then directing your browser to http://www.xfire.com/clans/mxorecursion/ and clicking the "Apply To Join" link on the left-hand side. All requests to join will be accepted as soon as possible, and others within the community that would like to help manage this particular resource are asked to contact me personally.

Thanks. EndlessVoid has offered to help manage this with me, so if anyone has an event that they would like to have the group notified of, and would like it added to the clan calendar, please feel free to private message the information to Void or myself. We'll need the typical who/what/where/when/why, and we'll get it added as soon as possible.

Likewise, we have to manually accept every application unfortunately, but no one who applies will be declined. So if you apply to join, you'll be accepted by which ever one of us checks/accepts you first.

MXO is ranked #171 in the xfire tables for play time in the last day. Some really crappy games are higher up rofl.
I cant believe MXO was as high as #30

This thread should really be moved to the event forum, and replace the devilsadvocates.net event calendar thread (which should be unstickied and removed, which I have requested but has not occured yet), should it not?

Honestly, since you work toward providing event services for all three servers I have to wonder why you made this for Recursion only instead of a whole entire MxO event clan. Or why you did not provide one for each server. And why you decided to do so now.

...Lil, I didn't create this to replace or even compete with the DA's event calendar. I just thought having instant notifications of people's player events would be a neat idea. This doesn't even have anything to do with A:B.

As far as me not creating one for all three servers, or one all-encompassing clan... I reached my max number of allowed clans, and I thought I'd do something exclusive to Recursion and show my home server some love. I'm sorry if I offended you, somehow, by creating this.
