Exciting mission, though.

Fortunately a few more exciting things went on to make up for the gaff, t'was a good mish, nice mix of enemies and good bits of storyline, nice to hear from Lock, though he brings a bit of sad news - I wonder who made the Intruder flip and why he sent programs after Niobe, unless she bumped into them - were they s'posed to be Agents she'd dispatched 'cause I can't really see her taking down two Agents that have been made faster and wilder.

Another interesting mission revealing more about the Intruder. It looks like the Intruder is the mystery man who was watching events on a TV in previous cinematics. The mystery man watched Neo meet Deus Ex Machina and the Intruder said he had been lied about Neo's abilities meaning he inquired into Neo. Good to hear from Lock, I wonder what will happen to Roland if Lock takes over as Commander.

I am sure I have heard 'raise' used in that context before, 'raise the alarm' sort of thing, except she is raising Niobe, or not as the text shows

ROFL COLT caused the Intruder to get so pissed off...oh god, so much funnier after doing the Machine crit before this one.
Doesn't sound like Colt likes Lock too much. Obviously would rather have Mauser with him than Lock.
This makes so much more sense when combined with the Machine crit...anyway, I'm kinda hoping at some point we get random spawns of accelerated programs during travel around the city, like during old live events (i.e. Red-Eyed Agents).

Raise: noun
20. To cause (the voice) to be heard
i.e. to raise one's voice in opposition.
Nope, that's the correct spelling. Tyndall already made one gaff in the mission,as pointed out above, so she was probably concentrating more after that.

Can anyone enlighten us on what actually happened in this mission?
#3630039322701/25/2008 10:12:57Re:[9.2.3] Zion mission feedback thread: "Trigger"
I was gonna ask the same thing. Give!
#3630039330401/25/2008 11:15:27Re:[9.2.3] Zion mission feedback thread: "Trigger"
EPN called up NZ saying that they had a transmission from Lock for them. Ops were sent the spot where the transmission was going to come in and told that Colt was on sight. Message was about how Lock had survived. He was knocked cold from the explosion on the command center and Mauser had taken care of him until Sentinels found them. Mauser lead the sentinels away from Lock with a lightning gun. During this the intruder showed up and questioned Colt about the lighting gun. Colt let slip that Neo could kill sentinels with just a wave of his hand and this set the Intruder off saying that someone had lied to him. Rest of the mission was just taking out the intruders accelerated programs.
#3630039337601/25/2008 12:51:51Re:[9.2.3] Zion mission feedback thread: "Trigger"
Hmmm.... interesting... The Intruder saw the meeting between Neo and Deus Ex, he also saw the attack on stalingrad.. but he either had no records to review of Neo's destruction of the sentinels in the real... or someone had altered them....

Colt is a moron.
#3630039387201/26/2008 08:08:08Re:[9.2.3] Zion mission feedback thread: "Trigger"
Well, that's sort of strange. What exactly did the Machines tell him about Neo then?
#3630039387401/26/2008 08:11:44Re:[9.2.3] Zion mission feedback thread: "Trigger"
Certainly not all the facts.
The fact he has gotten so worked up about this must mean that whatever he has been doing has been in connection with what he believed was capable against the machines...
#3630039511201/28/2008 14:00:29Re:[9.2.3] Zion mission feedback thread: "Trigger"
Poor Mauser! That's another one from the movies who died How sad! At least Lock is okay... I wonder if we will hear more about him and Roland in the future!
#3630039662701/30/2008 17:30:18Re:[9.2.3] Zion mission feedback thread: "Trigger"
also wonders if this will change the curent zion/epn relationship that lock always had against epn
