He's been keeping the Machines busy, but there's no question that this guy means trouble. Something tells me that he doesn't want to know about Neo's powers in order to save mankind.

((Would of been a good event for us if people could keep their *CENSORED* mouths shut about our location, that and other people not being respectful of other org's events.))((Loved the beginning of this event. I gotta agree with you a bit, but sometimes it's fun for everybody to have a big fight like this. Outside events are always gonna have problems like this. Personally, I'm kinda mad I logged off too early for the aftermath of the stuff.

\\\\\PRIORITY ALERT/////
The Intruder seems to be living up to his namesake. I believe we need to take him out, somehow.......................maybe WE should be looking for these "resources" he spoke of.
I believe a deffinative plan of attack should be coordinated between New Zion and EPN. I know there are differences in beliefs and actions, but, we have seen in the past the problems that have been created by those that choose to cause strife in the Matrix. And the way this is playing out, we are gonna need ALL of humanity working together...........even if it is just for this newest threat.
Beyond that, information and assets regarding this situation should be kept in the strictest of confidentialty, until the right time.

I don't see the point. He can be angry all he wants, but what can he really do to us? He can't control our minds and he can't force information from us (though he sure is trying with the hacking attempts - I certainly do not like that, but we've been able to stop him thusfar). In other words, he's keeping the Machines at bay, and all we have to do is keep him away from a few computers since he's otherwise unable to touch us.
We off him now, where does that leave us? Right back with mechanical claws jammed down our throats and virtually no gain.
What we really need to be working on right now is a plan of attack against the Machines, goddammit. I'm becoming entirely too pissed off that no one has used this withdrawl to launch or at the very least, devise an offensive. Hell, I'd be more than glad to assist in any efforts in that field. But as long as we keep Mr. Acceleration from his goals and he can't harm us, all he's serving as is a roadblock against the Machines at this poitn.
Happen to have this shot without the text panel? Not that I'm a fan of the Kid, but halos are epic.![]()

.........excuse me, but we have been fighing the machines since the start of this war (and way beyond if you missed that part) so this plan you are talking about is coming a little bit to late. Negotiation with the Machines so far, to find a peacefull solution to end this war have failed. It's time now for us to stand together and let our little ego's come in the way. EPN and Zion need to talk.....before it's to late.

Do we really know what made Neo the One?
The program inside him made him the One. The only question is when that program was put inside him -- was it always there, or was it 'downloaded' into him after Smith killed him?
Actually, that does bring up a second question. If that program wasn't always part of Neo, did it download into him...or did it overwrite him? Was "Neo" really the same person after he became the One?

Hmm. I don't know. I'd be hard-pressed to believe that the Accelerated Man is simply trying to gain Neo's powers. Entirely ignoring the fact that he already seems almost more powerful than Neo, he's said before that he came into the Matrix in order to get answers, and he's displayed a characteristic uncaring about the simulated world. To me, it seems like he'll be just as happy to leave when he gets the answers he wants.
Now, what this says to me is that he has something in common with either Neo or Trinity - perhaps his powers. Maybe he is questioning the root of them, or more particularly, how and why they originate, and why the Machines would have him in the position that he is in (it seems likely that he's somewhere near the Machine City and the Machines haven't elminated him, which means they need him for something). But more importantly, we don't know what he's looking for, and it's something that we should really be looking into, rather than throwing out potential answers to his questions.
((Would of been a good event for us if people could keep their *CENSORED* mouths shut about our location.))Be nice to know about it a bit futher than an hour in advance.
Jesus freaking Christ, Ledgic sure was a dumb-*CENSORED* with sending those /tells.Ah, now, Ledgic's a true legend in his own right, at least within the Glitch Society.

My guess is that he knows much more than we do. It seems as if he truly understands the nature and cause of his powers - what makes them function as they do and such. Perhaps this suggests that he knows or understands some of the underlying code subroutines governing programs and speed. Now, of course, he might not understand the subroutines relating to Neo's capabilities...
Why he needs to, I couldn't begin to understand, though.
Another thought I've had relating to the subject is that perhaps they have differing powers because they draw their strengths from different areas. The Intruder seems to be rooted in some sort of absolute nihilism as far as the System is concerned, whereas Neo always struck me as drawing his power more from confidence in his abilities to break the rules of the Matrix.
Still, it's an enigma we won't have the answer to for a while, I think.

You wouldn't believe how many laughs that line has had." width="15" height="15">
Anyway, back on topic: what surprises me is why the Intruder seems so confused over Neo's powers. He even had trouble accepting that Neo could fly. Dude, it's code. The Matrix is code. How d'you you think his powers worked?Hell, you're doing it yourself!
I think its brilliant actully. We typically only see the normal version of this. Bluepill who's lived their life in the Matrix thinking there are rules but knows they arnen't real wakes up and is amazed by the truth. The intruder is the reverse. Freeborn and knows there are rules and knows they can't be broken pluged into a world that has no rules.
The intruder is something in everyway we have never seen before.

Perhaps the Machines lied to him, told him only he could do things like this. He thinks it is impossible anyone could break the rules besides him.The intruder is something in everyway we have never seen before.
Who wants to bet that its only a matter of time before the Intruder tries to become more like Neo, and takes on his RSI?

Leave neo alone, kk?
Come on do you really think he could become more like neo there is no way in hell.
