...and I thought there wouldn't be anything else interesting in this thread. lol Now... what will NEXT week's image retrieval be????????????? lol
Rarebit's Mind Explosion affects you!
Rarebit's Mind Explosion does 87,568 damage to you.
You have died. Type /reconstruct to return to the Loading Area.
O.o

...

Also, that wall around the edge is making me think it is a construct again.

All abooooooooooard!!!

:O WHAT?

Woah! Nice
I cant remember where I saw this, but these pictures remind me of someones idea that was posted about a "Level 50 only area"
This could be intresting
Keep up the good work Devs!
It looks like You have to HJ to each Island to get somewhere... would also be nice IF that's where they'll be putting the Zombies as NPCs.
NOW THAT WILL BE...
EPICZ!!!
Well... I don't see the barge anywhere around there, though. Multiple new areas? The walls in that one are curving around all fours sides, so that'd make sense. Unless this area is pretty big.

Meh... this latest collection of pictures doesn't impress me, to be honest. I fail to see anything 'epic' about a random broken piece of bridge out in the middle of nowhere, with some random oil lines thrown in.
I am excited about the possibility of a new area... the barge had me very excited when I saw that. But this just seems... too random. I just hope there's a reason to it, storyline-wise. Perhaps this is a failed section of the Matrix? Or maybe an 'under-construction' form of the next version of the Matrix. Who knows?
I'll keep watching, though.

I mean the constructs have nothing to do with the storyline but they are awesome in themselves.
Yes, that's where the 'epic' comes from.I am excited about the possibility of a new area...
I doubt people are interested in broken bridges and pipes specifically, rather the fact that someone's worked out how to use the level editor, with all the potential for future content that implies.Fen wrote:Yes, that's where the 'epic' comes from.I am excited about the possibility of a new area...

That is the part that excited me most too, if the devs are confident on releasing new areas, there is no reason we cant get more new areas in the future.
There as to also be a folder somewhere with other unused/removed at last minute models of buildings and stuff which means it would be just reorginised versions of Richland or Westview.

If you jump in the pipe on the top right, you get teleported to World 8-1.That's exactly what I thought of.
SolidRevolver wrote:Very true indeed. You know the fact that we have a game with so much potential makes this probably the single most hopeful sign of things to come. I wrote in a previous thread on how SOE (not the MXO staff) seems to have ignored us. Ryu also mentioned something in a thread about SOE just giving us from barely to none as far as budget is concerned. Maybe though, just maybe this is a way the MXO staff is trying to make the game more appealing to the gaming masses and hopefully then we will start seeing the population rise. I won't get ahead of myself and say that great things are coming our way, don't get me wrong I still hope for that. I'm just a little more guarded when it comes to raising my own hopes too high. At any rate I do hope this will be a success .Procurator wrote:Sentiments echoed.. Actually, that is from Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Classic movie! Check it out if you see it on Turner Classic.

Hopefully, we see this soon.
