Hi ive been away from mxo for a while and have recently returned
i found that a problem i had before is still happening
when i try to log in i can get past the authentication screen that used to get stuck sometimes
but its when iits "loading character" (though i think it could be the next step that isnt working.. "contacting Region server"
This would indicate a firewall problem right?
Except one thing. this problem only occurs during peak times.
it affects a whole bunch of programs that use similar types of connection behaviour and...
when googling my problem i found this... XFIRE FORUMS

Yup TISCALI
when i try to contact them the indian guy at the other end who doesnt understand what i am telling him just says "it is not your connection it is the progam you are using"
to this i say BULL$**7
Anyway i was hoping if anyone else is having a similar problem if they could at least post that they are and if enough people are being affected to make it worthwhile if MxO could talk to tiscali and complain their users are being blocked from playing. hopefully this may make tiscali either fix or tell MxO how to get around it
