But anywho, I just hope that we don't linger on trying to figure out who this being is for 5 weeks, only to find out in the next cinematic.

Holy smokes, so Chadwick just does the storyboards now.. so now he does no Sentinel, no updated blogs, and now he doesn't even actually do the cinematics, just the preliminary storyboards?Procurator wrote:
I don't think this is Chadders' fault. He only does the storyboards, not the animation. And the scaling isn't a problem apart from when he's next to the Agents: the Intruder is big.Told you.

This is way more significant than another mega bad guy. If my guess is right, this is the mysterious glowing guy that's been standing in the background of event and chapter banners from day one. He's probably also the reason we've seen Agents lying around dead since Chapter 8.1 (or was it 8.2?), and could very well have ties to Mystery Man - or even be him!

Yup.Was he in every single event picture?
Also in Death of The Destroyer.
*takes notes*...But I bet if it did, that the new One would be an alien who Jacks In with the power of love. Ooh Yeah!

((For some reason, when I saw that, I had a preminition that he is going to go to the Neo Partially reconstructed RSI, merge with it then.... O_O ))
SAME EXACT THOUGHT WENT THROUGH MY HEAD...

The "Matrix" short story by Neil Gaiman, "Goliath" (featured in one of the "Matrix Comics" anthologies, and now in his short story collection "Fragile Things"mentioned aliens attacking the Matrix from the outside by dropping asteroids on the Machines or possibly the Machine City. Might have something to do with it...

Whoa. Is that one on their website? I wasn't aware that any matrix media had dealt with the possibility of aliens coming into the mix (not counting exiles, anyway). If so, that'd really help shake things up.

After that appearance on Syntax where the Accelerated Agents were about, I began to think it wasn't Neo but I am starting to think it is again
Also, after watching the Cinematic again, I noticed when 'Mr Wire' gets to the bottom of the monument he holds his hand on his chin and makes it look as if he is thinking, but I think it is a sign that he knows the Agents are comeing as he turns around as they arrive which makes me believe it is Neo more...
I also had the unlikely thought that Morpheus went and found Neo in death O_O

Now that I think about it, in one of the Matrix comics, there is a story about a Giant. I loved the story because the Matrix messes up and gets caught in a loop where the subway stops at Euston and half the passengers get off. Then the car shifted and they went through Euston and half the passengers got off.

They mentioned that this guy, The Accelerated Man, was 7-8 ft tall... so hmm. Maybe a tie-in or reference?
I can't believe I forgot about this and now that you mention it the two characters do indeed have a lot in common...Now that I think about it, in one of the Matrix comics, there is a story about a Giant.
