As someone that runs Player Events on the Vector Server quite frequently, it would be nice to have some, if any tools that can be used during an event to help make it a successful and enjoyable experience to all those involved. Ill just name some here now, but if other event organizers can post something they would like also, we can have a good list going, and maybe, just maybe, the Devs can see something that they can do on their side rather "easily"
Pac Zone assistance
System Broadcast assistance
Flyers to leave around
Able to use the Newspaper stands to advertise
FFA zone assistance
and more
By the way, here are some events myself and my faction have been involved in:

Anything like that would inevitably be abused and/or exploited.

I think all you have to do is make sure of who you're giving them to. It's easy to tell who's commited and who's probably plotting something.

You mean, who gets to use them?

Yeah, I was speaking from a GM point of view.

Being sleceltive about who gets these items isn't a very wise idea as people will be crying about favoritism in no time. If you really want to make them only available to players who will use them for good, or the only real way to do it is make them really expensive so those that just want to mess around with them will be dettered from paying a gross amount of info just to exploit/abuse the items.

If LESIG doesn't have special powers, there's no way player event coordinators are going to get them. The CSRs seem to be pretty willing to help out with those sorts of needs anyway if you give them advance notice.

Sorry, I wasnt implying that we was players had control of dropping pac zones, what I meant by assistance was a better way of getting CSRs or Devs to help with events instead of PMs on a Forum, maybe something more formal then that.
"SOE Player Event Assistance Staff" or something like that.

THOUGHT if we had the team to do it, like SWG they got their own event tools.
