We Zionites must preserve our way of Live, not from tyranny or persecution, but from Annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live, to exist. We will not go quietly into the night, we will not give up without a fight. We are going to live on, we are going to survive. Because we are Free Humans and we fight to Exist In The World, in the Universe, LONG LIVE NEW ZION AND IT'S PEOPLE!

((It is a cool title for a mission SMILEY and I hope to kick alot of Machine arses, if they have any lol ))

Hey, Strenlo!  It's cool seeing Strenlo again.  And before anyone says "Wait, didn't Phinney kill Strenlo?", he wasn't killed by her.  He survived and interfered with Phinney's code in some way, which is why Phinney's health kept dropping.  It's a little detail that wasn't in the event post, as far as I know, but Degu explains this here.  Anyway, great to see Strenlo again and ... and ...

Nooo!  Strenlo!!! ;_;  Why, Rarebit, why?

And it was cool to see Joshua Maston again.  I was half-expecting him to die too. SMILEY

Spoilers here also

T'was a good mission indeed and I got what I'd been waiting for, a chance to see some old faces. Admittedly I'd seen neither Strenlo nor Maston before, but I knew the names and it was good to see them and be involved in their story.

I guess not having been in LEs with them or anything made me less shocked by Strenlo's death, but I still think it was good so it had impact. Seeing an anonymous crew get killed by Sentinels in a cinematic shows us the reality of war, but seeing a familiar face get shot and not come back makes us feel it's impact.

All in all a good mission, but a bit of a botch with operator dialogue for me. He told me that Maston was "in there" while I was still outside dealing with machine spawns.

Good mission. was awesome seeing some old faces again, definately a good way of making the characters feel that much more personal and human instead of just 'Zion Dude' - made the emotion of the mission come across that much more strongly.

Very cool throwbacks, with JM and Strenlo... I guess they decided to

*SPOILERS*

kill off Strenlo because most people allready thought he was dead (me included).  Interesting stuff.

I forgot who Strenlo was. Does this make me a bad person?

Usually, yes. But because he's from the unlimit saga, this is forgivable. He was stalked by a female unlimit in love with him.

Having previously been intimately involved in tracking down and locating Maston (EPN as an org), and then with this mission meeting with Michael, and escorting two EPN operatives to remove Maston from the Simulation...I'd say this was as close to a mythical "EPN mission" as we've gotten (or may ever get).

QFT

Mission was full of Epic and Win. EPN like Mission + Joshua = Happy Gami.

Similar to the last mission but I agree it's nice to rescue (or try to) verteran operatives who have been included in the story, makes you feel you're having more of an impact on it. Again it was fun fighting the Agents and security with the help of EPN.

And yes there was some confusion with the operator thinking you've entered the room with Maston when you haven't even entered the building yet.

I liked being able to fight the Agents too, had the same odd thing with the operator about Maston.

Blazed through all 5 Zion crits today, liked just about all of them. Really added to the feel that Zion's in trouble. Liked the Morpheus clips in the...3rd mission, I think? A little short, but whatever. I wonder what the one about something finally happening was going to be used for originally.

Sucks for Strenlo, and I'll be interested to see what happens with Maston.

From Zion's point of view, next subchapter should have a lot of action. I wonder if Niobe and Ghost will have their RSIs done, or if we'll have to wait awhile longer for them.
