All that was done was delay the inevitable. Those Merovingian operatives who claimed victory only did so for their own selfish purposes, as any Merovingian Operative would... They did nothing noble or self sacrificing to prevent any of this or save any of us. The Algorithm is weak, but not dead. He will return and with a vengence.

And yet Merv operatives managed to save you all from total destruction, AND made sure the Merv received his payment. You can save all your talk about "self sacrifice" and "nobility" it just blinds you to what really is important, at any rate the job got done.
