It occured to me that to see which friendly players are flagged I have to select them every time, so this ide came up. Why not make thier names a different color? Lets say darker blue or brown.
Friendly flagged colors

Or you can just hover your curser over their RSI. >_>
Well in pvp most of the time i wouldnt have time to hover every single name in the area whilst also being attacked by hostiles.
This should be a simple enough thing to do, and would allow you to check the pvp status of your side as well as the opposing side(s) at a glance.
Also i was thinking something slightly more visible than brown or dark blue leo, how about orange, also a small addition to your idea, maybe the colour flagging for friendlies shouldnt appear prior to flagging yourself.

Cant hurt to know who is flagged around you, even if it is your side. I dont think they should block it so you only see them when your flagged yourself. No more blue, you have light blue for team mate, medium blue for everyone else, deep blue for faction mates and royal blue for the Cyph tag, I think green could look pretty good, not because WoW's friendly flag is green >_> Its just a color that hasn't been used on the name tags yet.... that or Pink
Orange is made with red and yellow, hostile and EPNs
Err.. When a friendly player is flagged, their Org alignment is displayed. Can you not just toggle /orgnames?

I agree on green since it is used only for players and NPCs lower lvl than you ie pose no threat to you as the friendly flagged.

What I mean is; if you have /orgnames turned off, only flagged players have their tag displayed. This enables you to see at a glance who is flagged and who is not.

However, if you want something added, my only thought would be to make that PvP symbol appear whether or not the cursor was over the player.
Or you can turn off the Org names, and then when a teammate flags, it says the Org name next to them.
And have it optional, personally I don't need to know that everybody on Vector is hostile, I've known that for 2 years.

Maybe because I constantly want to see who is which org??

personally, i like the idea. it doesn't seem hard to implement. just a name coloration or flag next to friendly players. seems like it wouldn't take too much work, or thought, to implement.
so what's with the flaming?
so what's with the flaming?
It's completely unneccesary. The colors that is. We have a command we can use instead.

Yep such a simple and effective addition that I very much doubt would take up a lot of dev time. In the heat of pvp a different colour for your own "flagged" org would be nice cause we know there are lots of blue rezzers about

If you played on vector you wouldn't have this problem

Well, WoW turns friendly flagged players' names green, and WoW's a game where you can tell if someone's on your side or not just based on their race.
... There's all kinds of really horrible photoshop picture opportunity in there, somewhere...

There are also reasons to PVP in WoW, I hear.
I think that's cooler.
Wouldn't it be simplest to just make the pvp flag always visible on name tags, and not just on mouseover or selection of a friendly?
Why not play vector and see it all as red, like it should be?

Uh, how about no. Also we all know about the stacking clothes problem and the combat bugs, the Dev's are aware of it, so there is absolutely no need to spam other peoples threads in 'Animation Feedback' and bashing their ideas about things that they would like to see in game if possible.
We understand that stacking is a problem, but if we just posted about that single subject all day then there would just be one massive thread with everyone saying the same thing over and over, but the problem still would be unlikely to get sorted any quicker.

You can switch on the health bar permanently in a config file. So why not the red gun icon that says PVP flag?
