Not too long ago we had a lively debate about wether or not to restrict area effect heals and buffs to team only.  That discussion took place here.  Since the end of May the proposed changes have been in effect.  We've had some time now in which to experience the new workings of those abilities and see how they effect PvP, PvE and life in general.
Please use this thread to post your feedback.

They work fine in PvE. Haven't seen them used much in PvP since the patch, though. We'll see, I guess.

From what I've seen so far, this has been a highly effective change.  Trauma surgeons can't heal 60 people and each other anymore, so they're much easier to take out.

I think the idea behind it is good, and it also would make new options for teams/player's to work more in tactic/strategic way.....i hope soSMILEY

But... ............1) Gives small groups an increased chance for survival against large groups, since under this scheme, the large groups could no longer keep themselves fully healed/buffed with just one healer/buffer.

I would have hoped for something that actully worked for not only organisation, but also for faction and crews. I just think we use the faction/crew options and possiblites in the Mxo to little...well that's another topic.

Bottom line is, i belive it's a good idea with that change to the effect restriction!

This can't be all the feedback there is..
I'm hoping to hear back from many of the people who posted in the original thread.  Did it work out how you thought?  Is it better or worse than you expected?  Does it not make much difference at all?
To see such a 'major' change to go in and not be commented on is pretty unusual.  This is MxO after all :)
