Why so much Latin in the new mission? I mean, why name them like that?

Do you or the other Devs ever mess with other character's heads a lot? I recall hearing an incident in 01 where a Yeti spawned on certain farming nublets while they were fighting the taskmaster.

Well I was thinking about it but then I noticed how they go away if you click through them, and if I guess if you don't want to bother with that you can always CTRL+F to toggle them off (they're FX) for a screenshot or whatever.

Umm...how long does it take to add new collectors for like what your doing in Uriah to cash in on the gang drops? (mainly for how easily they can come to other neighborhoods)

What sort of motivation do you need before considering a rebundle?  I know they're rather big and frustrating to do.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe in the normal course of things I could get through a couple neighborhoods in an update, doing all the other stuff I want to do in those neighborhoods along the way. The XP system wasn't quite made with trades like this in mind, so it takes some fiddling to get them giving out the amount I want, and I'm still a little paranoid about exploitability. Eh. Anyway, I don't yet know if I'm going to do them just as I work through the neighborhoods adding "bread-crumb" quest stuff anyway from Uriah, or if I'll work ahead on just collector-cash-ins separately. I'd rather not do just the collectors by themselves, I guess, but maybe I'll get impatient.

It isn't a problem with the org alignment set on the NPCs, it's just that the AI code used for spawned NPCs currently doesn't pay any attention to that setting. I can give them an initial target, and tell them to despawn if that target is killed or lost, but that doesn't always prevent them from switching targets to some other nearby player, of any org, based on standard NPC aggro rules. It's a problem we've discussed here a bit in the past few weeks, but I'm not sure if or when we might be able to smarten them up in that respect.

A lot of NPCs seem to have an NPC Only ability that grants all 4 resistances (or so it seems). Could we get the stats on tbat ability, such as the duration time/resistance granted, if it's easily available?

Mmm I think you must mean the passive thing HCFrog and Dracomet gave NPCs for CR2.0 so that they'd have appropriate baseline resists by level. I don't think I want to give specific stats on it, though.

Rarebit, what type of specs are you running on that computer you have at work? In every LE, your screenshots are all in high detail. I can run my game high detail no problem, but when it comes to actually running around, chasing, or even fighting someone... I experience more lag/freezing than I would in low detail.

The primary one is

Dell Dimension 8400
Pentium 4 3.4 GHz (2 CPUs)
2046 MB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 6800 (256 MB RAM)

The secondary one is

Pentium 4 3.0 GHz (2 CPUs)
2046 MB RAM
Radeon X800 Pro (256 MB)

The secondary one drops detail a lot faster than the primary one. Lately I've sometimes had MXO exterior distance and memory use settings turned up higher than I would normally, to minimize the icky look of the world fog not blending with the color of the horizon fog in the default MXO weather (that'll be fixed soon--I got used to the nice smooth blending in my custom red etc weather settings we'd been using in recent subchapter :p). Usually I run pretty close to standard Highest Detail settings in MXO, with RAM Usage set to Low, and AA turned on.

My useropts look sorta like this:

CameraChaseDuration = 0.1
ILCameraMode = 2
CameraMinDist = 100
CameraMaxDist = 2800
CameraMaxSpeed = 1000
CameraUserKeyDistSpeedScale = 5000
CameraUserKeyPitchSpeedScale = 250
CameraUserKeyYawSpeedScale = 400
TargetClearOnClick = 0
EnableSplash = 0
wr_matrixview_min_t = -1.0
wr_matrixview_max_t = 0.0
Screenshot_JPG_Quality = 100
Screenshot_Filename_Base = ./screeny
PlayerFX_LightPool_Bright_Scale = 0
LogChatOnStartup = 1
AntiAliasFSOverSample = 12
AntiAliasFSQuality = 12

I do get lag and stuff sometimes, usually if I try jumping across a whole district. I sorta locked up after Pace jumped across Westview at the end of today's event, for instance.

After every event, do you go back and take the chat log and save them seperately?  If so, you must have tons.

And you recording everything that's said in a LE is kinda creepy, actually.

Corruptors still have a chance to spawn on the timed cycle, but they also have a chance to spawn everytime you enter the district from the loading area or are recalled in bathory.

They're populated on a regionserver (/who area) basis, if I remember what Dracomet told me when I asked him long ago... I think it's either that they will all repopulate once the whole area has been tapped out, or that as you tap one, another one is spawned in at a random location in that /who area. I think it's actually the former, but I can't remember for sure.

Do they spawn straight away as Large, medium and small nodes or do they spawn as a small one and grow over time if they are left alone?
I don't think they change size.

Lies, they get smaller each tap you make. But they don't update dynamically. You have to go out of the visual range of it and return to see the difference.

Is it wise to be returning to old LESIG stories like 991 since there are still people out there with leaked information that could potentially ruin the whole thing, or have you and LESIG 2.0 tweaked them so the stories are different?
