[7.1.4] Morpheus has always spoken the truth! - Syntax - 3/30/07

We've seen the clear image of Morpheus with our own eyes. It looked like him, sounded like him--came to us with a message that was partly scrambled, but still plenty clear enough, saying things some of us have always suspected. With messages like this, and even the Machines themselves admitting that they lied to everyone about Cryptos and the Cypherites, now each of us has to ask ourselves:

When does belief become fact?

Thanks to the foresight of our Lord Frenchman, killcode bullets were used on old Peanut Head that prevents him from ever entering the Matrix again.  He can run around Machine City fighting Runners for the next 20 years for all I care.  As long as he doesn't come back into my Matrix.

Great now Rarebit is photoshoping pics on the forums.  Walrus, wait he left, Raijinn!!!!

((The event was cool and all, but the Dev Bubble around the devices was horrible.  I know that somethings happen for the storyline to evolve but the devices were setup for someone to disarm them.  Then you had The Kid yelling out to keep those who were trying to interfere away from the device...which didnt make sense since we couldnt touch them anyways.  The only person who really did get to them ended up being sent to the Loading Screen.  It all just took away from the feeling like we could make a difference in anything.))

With how easy it is to program holographic images into the Matrix...i.e The Generals Hologram.  I would hope that the more level-headed members of Zion wont jump the gun so easily.

Ironic eh, all Morpheus needs to do is state his location in the real and he can jaw jaw all he wants, but no after inspiring a goose chase to ignite a bunch of code bombs in prominent area's, disrupting and undoubtably sacrificing x number of bluepills in the process and justifying all Machine criticism of the same, he gabbles on in an obtuse manner feeding the predjudices of his audience. A more blatant and obvious attempt at manipulation would be hard to credit, yet so gullible and niaeve are epn that they swallow it hook line and sinker eagerly awaiting the next piece of mindless vadalism they can perpetrate on our world.

((I agree about the whole puzzle aspect of this event. As only a lvl 25 player I really thought I would be stuck doing a lot fo watching in this event but as it turned out, I got to figure out the whole triangulation thing and everything and pinpointed the location of morpheus. That just made the event for me right there.))

Although in this story the wolf aka Mr. Peanut Head will never come back, since our Lord Frenchman had the foresight to use special killcodes on him that prevent him from ever returning to the Matrix ever again and threatening the simulation.

Also, I'd like to express my complete and total solidarity with the Machine organization, I too am disgusted with "Kid" Popper's crude parlor tricks.....his attempts to whip up the weakminded and foolhardy into a disruptive frenzy.

Whether or not this is truly him will be open for debate for some time.  However, what we need to remember is that if it is him and he does return he will need to answer for his actions prior to his supposed death.

Morpheus was a great man, but if he comes back and if he continues down the same path as before then I for one will not be able to support him.  The Truce is more important then any one man and I will continue to protect it.

We do not know for sure that is him, until we do I stand by my earlier statements.

Without the Truce we would not have much of an opportunity to seek the Truth.
