Everyone,

The specially modified Code Pulse devices we managed to detonate at two of the three helipads the General has been using Downtown will impair his ability to move his helicopters across the city. Our main hope in undertaking this operation, however, was to provoke some kind of response from the General, in the hope that he will come out of hiding, presenting us with a means of finding Sati.

The threat to his helipads eventually did produce a response, as large numbers of his Commandos, and finally a very powerful Elite Commando, came to defend the locations. Our Code Pulse devices were nearing detonation on the third pad, despite the Elite Commando's strength, when everyone in the area was suddenly forcibly jacked out.

We do not know what the cause of this was, but it seems likely to have been a response to our presence at the pads. We were not able to impair that last pad, in Creston Heights, but even so, the loss of the use of two of his pads will slow the General down. And there is very good reason to think that we were successful in raising the General's ire.

Please notify us immediately if you come across any sign of the General or Sati in the city.

~Shimada

It was foolish for such ill-equipped peace-breakers to attempt something of this magnitude.

You have no business with Sati, so please move along.

Another fantastic EPN Event, they have never let me down

((server crash FTL though..apparently happened last night too))

Good stuff, and it works well with the Zion mission too, looks like we've got the same ideas as EPN. Were the CYPHs/Machs alerted to the EPN operation or did they just happen to catch them at it, 'cause if they managed to just stumble across it and actually manage to disrupt the event that's pretty cool.

Exciting stuff

They had inside information.

A great operation that almost succeeded had it not been for the instability in the system forcing most of us to jack out.

((Oh man I look like a total n00b in the pictures at the helipads, I had almost got to the final location well manage to get HJ to get me there when the Syntax went bye bye *CENSORED* it!.))

This looked like a fun event - well done!

Code pulses to interrupt empty Helipads? I mean... isn't that kinda stupid?

Either way, as long as they don't endanger blues in the vincity they can place their pulses. I don't understand how attacking those helipads will impair the Generals movement but well.

Can't land to refuel a chopper if its landing pad is gone now can you?

Lmao at the incredible ignorants.  Why do some people assume everything EPN ever do is somehow evil?

They were making an attack on the General, something that actually helps the Machines and causes no harm to bluepills as some people seem to assume.

learn the difference between a Code Pulse and a Code Bomb.

Pull your head out of your *CENSORED*.

Yes...I am a Machinist.

An EPN sympathizer.
Do we proceed?
Yes.
He is still...
Only human.

I'm impressed with the quality and logic/relevance of this event. I'm also impressed that it was an EPN event. It makes sense, it's not rediculous or irrelevant and even has some crazy stuff we've not seen before.

Definately a cool event..... even if it's not on recursion. Good job folks. SMILEY

I was very pleased to introduce the Elite Commando to the sole of my shoe.

It's unfortunate others find solace in labeling those factions aligned with EPN with buzzwords designed to draw immediate negative reaction towards us. However, ignorance doesn't vanish overnight.

Well it says in the event, the helicopters run on a remote control program which is run from the helipads, which broadcasts the routes to the helicopters. Disruption of the code in those areas means a loss of control over the helicopters - which is definitely a big disruption for the General.

Theorydust, on the left, with the shotgun assist for Shimada, FTW. SMILEY

Very cool event.  I liked the Cypherites showing up and having a big rumble- it was a nice touch and finally showing some Cyph/EPN conflict on a bigger scale.  Throw the commandos in and it was like a crazy rumble in the Matrix.  Awesome.
