I don't know about anyone else but my inventory is clogged up with special clothing and other items from events that I want to keep as souvenirs to remind me of them. But with Christmas on the way, it's about to get a lot fuller and as more and more special events happen (at least we hope they will!!) there's going to be less room for the essentials like weapons and health pills etc.

So I was thinking, would it be possible to have a special 'souvenir' inventory which we could move such items into once we've stopped using them. For example my Security t-Shirt was fun and had good buffs, but now I've got shirts with better buffs that shirt is redundant, but I do want to keep it because I had to kill some Sleepwalkers to get it and it reminds me of that event.

What do you think?

I know how you feel. You can still e-mail items to yourself or an alt for storage but they have their disadvantages and it would be nice to have somewhere to store items we don't use but we still think are valuable.

Agreed.  Remember back when we had HALF the number of Inventory slots?  The prob I am running into is that I dont' have enough uploadable space now!

I dont mind having to store stuff in email but I cant see all my stuff since it only shows like 50 at a time.  If they increased this so you can see all your emails then we would have a storage solution.

Emailing important things to yourself works pretty good in my view for such things as the beta clothing parts I never use and such. Though in all honestly eventually we are going to need more inventory slots as time goes on.

they could implement a "bank" system. so you could just go, and put things in, that you want, but dont use regularly

I use my email to store this kind of stuff, but I don't really trust the email system.

Especially when CSRs don't support returning items you've lost in emails.

I've never tried the whole e-mailing thing to be fair, so I don't know how easy iti is to do, but it's still a bit of extra effort to do, and e-mail is never 100% reliable so I still think a special storage area would be good. It could just be an extra dropdown in the loading area and only specially designated items could go there.

I think that would be good but very very difficult to implement

Wasn't there supposed to be some kind of faction/crew code storage facility at one stage?
More inventory space would be nice for all the trinkets we've accumilated over the years, that and a crew storage thingy.

I'd have to agree here, since most of my current in-game inventory is 3 panels of fighting clothes, 2  panels of tools and other important items and 1 empty panel for looting.

Seeing as the e-mail system can't be trusted id propose a loading construct, like the one Neo was in when they saved Morpheus "I need guns, lots of guns". The LA inventory is great for codes. what about a Material LA? of course you would have to take your items from e-mail or the world and then load into this material world. Kinda like an apartment in the sky.

THANK YOU FOR PLAYING MKT ONLINE

I've heard too many stories about people trying to e-mail items and then loosing them. I'm keeping my event items in my inventory for sure SMILEY

Indeed, storage is rare. There are so many nice things... Perhaps we should have a "chest-items" with its own space. Hey, perhaps  treausure-chest-luggables too SMILEY

Email-storage is not save. New emails delete older ones. Beware of spammers!

A banking feature was supposed to be in the Matrix Online since the beginning, however try as they might, they were never able to perfect the code to get it in game.

Research of the "Ask a Dev" thread would also let you know that they have no plans at this time to work on the banking system.

"Well they should listen more to the players on this matter though."

Indeed.  Except that there are actual bugs most of us would rather see fixed as opposed to some of the new things Dev is working on.

I would still trade 1000 /AFK-type modifications for getting the Gol-Durn compiler to show the
Gol-Durn item details again.  :'(
