I'll look for it. Thanks.
Peter could understand their intentions when he took Sylar's power. Maybe Sylar has it too.

Why he did it after gaining her power already, I don't know and I doubt they'll tell us.
Word. They probably didn't have any use for that scene and didn't put any thought into it.
What's really annoying me is how there's no structure to this at all. There's a general plot each season (some Bad Event in the near future they have to stop), but there's no flow or reason for the things that happen in any given episode. Prime example is the eclipse. What the hell was that for? People lost their powers for a few hours, then... Oh, back to normal. Pfft.
I was thinking/hoping maybe the eclipse reset the powers of people who'd had them taken by Pa Petrelli. So Peter would have lost all his accumulated powers but would once again have his base power of being able to absorb others'. But I haven't seen him fly yet, so I guess not.
The way I understood it, Sylar's drastic change in personality stems from weather or not he is using his power, when he does use it he gets carried away.
I am liking this season, Elle is my favourite so far (along with Daphne and Meredith) so I hope they don't kill her off permanantly.
Eclipse Part 1 + 2 is on in a few hours for me!!
He realised she was lying, that she was involved in the cover-up of the Petrellis not being his real parents, that she could've told him at any time. Isn't that reason enough for a demented phychopath to kill, regardless of the fact he wasn't getting her powers?

Seams reasonable. It actually made a lot of sense, Sylar being a Petrelli, because he has the same power as Peter and Arthur.
Good stuff this week. Sylar's back on form alright - woo-ee!
The look on his face when he says 'Got me' was absolutely priceless. Good levels of drama as well with the stand-off and Hiro's mum.
I feel compelled as ever to criticise, though. The effect of Hiro being flung off the roof was very dodgy, and the climax was pointless. (Some guy gets super strength after being injected - big deal. Suresh did exactly the same thing and look how he turned out.)
The catalyst... What the hell is that? With most of the series being grounded in some sort of science - however spurious - a shimmering, ghostly entity travelling from host to host doesn't fit. (Maybe they've been playing MxO.
) How did the Company create it in the first place? Or did they find it somewhere and build the formula around it?
*Draws breath.*
And how many people have owned that blasted rooftop?

yeah im glad sylar was back although im kinda shock that Sylar didn't try to take peters father powers and the scene with Hiro and his mom was very good same with Clare and her father im looking forward to next week although the holiday break is gonna be a pain to wait for
Another hilarious moment is when Sylar is just standing next to that guy covered in blood with the elevator music in the background. He says "Hmm... it does tingle" and the guy is freaking out.
It needed this.
Well that was a completely lame way to kill Arthur Petrelli.
The comic that released with the episode made the death of Arthur Petrelli seem more passionate, but I think honestly if you have to use another medium in order to explain the original work, then something's not really working.
I feel like the twists and turns through Sylar's personality definitely kind of ruined his whole serial killer personality, but eh, I still like it more than the daddy's boy personality.
two intresting Reads here
Lex Luthor's Dad on smallVille will play Sylars Father in a upcoming episode and a interview with the director both sound very intresting and looking forward to it.
Ah, I wasn't aware that there was any form of comic even going on. :/
WOW that was a Epic episode i think that was probaly the best episode of this season i loved the whole part with sylar that was great and next Volume looks intresting unfourtently i gotta wait a month and a half for it....
I like how they tied in the future of "being hunted" into the end of this episode like the Peter from the future warned about.
Yeah, really cool episode. Volume 4 looks like an X-Men kinda thing, with them being hunted. Looks cool.
Genesis, --, Villians, Fugitives
What was the second volume called again?

Ah, thanks.
So it looks like now its a mix of the first future and the second future that was predicited.
Think sylar will some how survive that glass plus being burned to nothingness?

well rember he does have clares powers so i wont count him out but something tells me that in the end perhaps sylar may come out of this as the guy who saves everyone in fugutives i kinda got that feeling the part where he was with mrs petrelli
thats what I argued with my girl friend but if his body was blown a part I doubt it would inch its way back together. I mean clare did have to push her skin over her stomach for her to heal during the autopsy.
(that and you know he's doing star trek)
If you read the post earlier in the thread, Sylar will meet his dad in an upcoming episode, so obviously he will survive. Also, it's not uncommon for an Actor to do simultaneous shows, since I'm assuming Star Trek will be using a different season break than Heroes.
When will the next volume start?

Monday after the Superbowl.
Remember what happend to Peter in Season 1 in Surresh's appartment when Sylar stuck glass into the back of his head? That shuts down the ability to regenerate. As soon as someone pulls the glass from Sylars head, he'll regenerate.
That was probably better than most Heroes episodes this season but still wasn't amazing, to me.
I laughed when the marine got smoked immediately, though. For me, they messed peoples sides and abilities around far too much this Season. I'm still not sure who to see as evil and who not to. The only one that stands out as being just completely evil and badass is Sylar and Peter, Parkman, Hiro and Ando are the good guys you can easily figure out. The rest of the cast are all blurred and that isn't great because you're kinda left wondering who to trust.

Yeah, but it's worth the wait.
well when he does come back they better explain the being blown to bits, the glass is a given that just "turns them off" as claire said. Can't wait till the superbowl is over so we can get more heroes!

So he needs someone to turn him on in Vol four. I hope its not his dad because that could be ackward.
Well i Read Sylars "real dad" will be in vol 4 he's being played by Lex Luthors Father in smallVile
Ya i saw that on the last page. I wonder what his powers are, if he has any, maybe he's like sylar (since peter was like arthur of course arthur was more powerful and had to touch).
I finally got to watch it yesterday. I'm glad Peter finally got his powers back, although I know he had to lose them for the story. He's just too powerful. It's like with the Dragonball, Z, and GT series. No matter what happens, Goku can just come in and kill the bad guy.
One thing that does make me mad is that Hiro doesn't have his ability anymore. Heck yeah to Ando getting an ability though!

Oh ya and for ando getting an ability. if it supercharges other peoples abilities (make him a super side kick) how would it have killed Hiro? Maybe Hiro was mistaken when he saw that...
Zeac wrote:

Well maybe it can do more, or maybe by then Hiro was already powerless and when Ando supercharges a human it.. kills them?

Heroes needs to be goddamn canceled. Seriously, all the plot holes, the miss managed storylines, whats next? They're going to imprison Super humans and experiment on them?
Oh wait..........

Copyright infringment anyone?
Very cool season premiere. I really loved the scenes with Sylar. He seems to be back in full form, as he kicked the crap out of the attack force. I'm glad they didn't beat around the bush about whether he was alive or not. I'm not too sure about the whole "Lost" feeling with everybody else trapped on an island, though.
It wasn't too bad. Though this whole 'A PLANE CRASH THAT WILL CHANGE THEIR LIVES' smacks of plagerism. :p

Wait, what?! Is Heroes on telly again?
It may be annoying me somewhat, but TV is TV, so I'm off to look for it!
I really liked last night show i always thought the show is better when everyone works together against some one. I also wonder whats gonna hapen with sylar is he gonna work along with the other heroes or is he just gonna continue his solo thing.
Wait it was an Island? I thought it was just a jungle... And did anyone else notcie that there was no narration? That and Peter seems to either have to touch people now like his father or is he now just under more control where he doesn't unknowingly absorb everyones powers all the time?

yeah i was wondering about that i picked that up to but didnt think about it right away.
I don't know. I wasn't really feeling it on this episode. It was kinda bland.
One thing I noticed that this show and many others do a lot lately is have their characters make obvious and unnecessary comments/realizations. For instance, Sylar made a note of a everytime he used his lie-detector ability. "Well, you're telling the truth..." "That was a lie..." "Don't worry, mom, he's lieing..." It's as if we don't already know, and it makes the characters feel a lot less real when they do this.
yeah this epsiode was kinda all over felt out of place but it looks like next weeks episode may pick it up more
I actually enjoyed this episode. I'm hoping Heroes will continue to get back on track.

Great episode tonight im liking were things are going i enjoyed the whole part with hiro and ando im also glad that sylar is back as his normal self and him and the kid seem to make a good pair. now next week it looks intresting to see what happens with noah and see what side he picks.
Yeah, tonights episode was pretty decent.

Monday's Heroes episode was probably one of the better episodes I've seen of Heroes in the past 2 seasons. Season 2 was forgettable for the most part and the last couple of episodes after the Winter break have seen a nice pick up in story.
Anyone else thing Silar is even more disturbing than before? /raisehand.
