Looks like the RSI is chained and hanging from the cieling... now why would who ever is keeping it do that? I mean, it cant move... can it?

It's just an effect which floats above the players.

That sig is a variation on one of the old 'Save MxO.com' website/project support sigs. The site popped up right around the time of the SOE buyout/acquisition of the Matrix Online in September of 2005.

As for Neo's RSI floating around again . . . it is what it is.

If they are going to use that to further the story, and not actually bring him back great. But please, Walrus, we know your the producer and what you say either goes or has alot of weight in the storyline so please, please, PLEASE do not give in to the lowest common denominator and bring Neo back. Honestly, that would be the ultamate "god mod player kills off character infront of everyone and two weeks later pops him back up as if nothing happened" POS that anyone could do.

Even if it is a fake Neo, an impersonator, ABANDON THAT PLAN. Neo died in the movies, leave him there, for the sake of the story.

First, it was never actually clear that Neo died -- it was suggesting, yes, but I always had the imagination that something of him might have remained. These theories have been partially confirmed and partially expanded through the Sarah Edmontons story and the hunt after Neo's RSI fragments in chapter 1.

Secondly, you probably don't know that if Neo is ever coming back in any shape or form, it would be the Wachowskis' decision they assigned Chadwick to write up. You're just trying to influence the original plans for the storyline of this game.
I don't know how big Walrus' influence on the story is, but I'm sure he won't change Chadwicks' and the brothers' plans so heavily.

I don't know why everybody flips out. Is it some ultimate tabu or what? Just because you believe him to be dead?

As for myself, I think his "return", if anything like that should ever occur, should happen much later. But that's also just my opinion based on what I've seen so far.

Rarebit already completely came up with the plots for 5.3-6.1 and I think now 6.2. How much more control can you get?
Well, I don't think Neo or any of his reincarnations will appear if it weren't in accordance with the Brothers. I also don't think the documents about Edmontons and the plot about Neo's RSI would have existed or that they were pointless.

lets say that the brain of trinity has been put in sarah and the frags of neo are also in sarah, making them forever together and the 7th successor.

When revolutions finished, the one was taken back to his primary home, the source. It is here I feel, that he was taken back to the source, and re-inserted back into the matrix during the "server restart".  The One is apart of the equation. And when re-inserted to the source. He is put back into simulation in a number of "code pieces". Piece's that together, may re-form his RSI.
The last we head of morpheus, there were alot of rumour's sayig he *was* alive, being held in a construct after being heavily wounded from the attack of the assassin. Maybe Morpheus, or follower's of Neo (the kid, shimada etc.) Are searching for the one's "fragments". To piece him back together.

If this is correct, then my question would be. What next. What will Neo do if he is indeed reformed!?
I'm also wondering what's going on with Anome, is he dead, or just badly wounded? Surely taking the killcode is more then enough to make you survive a mere bullet.  (<3 the cinematic, btw!)

Anywho, that's my 2$!

His mind and body are present in the simulation. Even the glue to affix them is there. However, it would mean the "death" of a bluepill, and if he were to come back, he would not be the God everyone wants him to be.

Leave him peace, he has earned it.

To me it looks like (not saying it is!!) Trinity....but it can't be, cause she is dead....right?

The fate of Trinity's remains has never been verified to date...the documents of an exile program known as the Assassin, whose purpose was once recycling the corpses of the humans plugged into the Matrix, claim that he was not allowed to recycle Trinity's corpse, and that the machines were planning some kind of project for it.

An excellent twist (though it would never happen):

Agent Pace is the recovered remains of Neo/Trinitys minds WHO will be the New One for this version of the matrix after assimilating the the remains of the Old One from Ver6.

Sara E. is the lost fragments of that woman who was transformed into an agent (in the 2nd movie burly brawl scene) who was then assimilated by the Smiths WHO become the new Smith.

Yeah... would make for an interresting story... but not likely to happen.
