My friend is having trouble installing.

They get this error when installing.

Error Information:

Your friend should go to http://update.microsoft.com and update their version of windows installer.

If phi's suggestion does not work for you, try renaming your InstallShield Engine folder (found by default here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine) then try running the installer again.
