I know one of the devs... most likely Rarebit... had mentioned something about a possible DMZ being made...
That's good if you don't want people to fight in an area...
But how about adding some risk?
Creating a "Please Don't Fight Here" zone or... for better wording... a "Policied" zone.
In these zones fighting is discouraged, flagging up or attacking an NPC results in "Security" coming out to break up the fight. One security guy for each "offender". The security guys would spawn with trouble makers level + 5 (Yes I know you can take a + 5 level char). Now... if any one else attacks that NPC they have security spawn on them... and if someone defeats the security guard, two more spawn and come after them.
Leaving the "Policied" zone causes the Security guy to go back to his spawn point, and disappear after saying something whitty.
Get the idea?
So... Lets put one of these "Policied" zones in a club for example. Folks go to clubs to chill, not be harassed by pvp'ing folks. (Or so I would like to think). So these trouble makers go down, talk trash and flag up... Security shows up and starts "showing them the door". The folks that want to just chill ignore the pleas for help and the "RFOL COPTSRS!?!@$@". The sucka gets served... but comes back for more... and brings his friends... process begins again, and they kill some security guys, but mre security shows up... eventually they either give up or get "owned".
Party folks get to chill.
Now here is something else...
RP folks go to the clubs, and of course start fights, part of their story... as you can guess these security guys could play into that... security breaks up the fight.
Another use:
Factions could run into these clubs, and generally cause trouble .... IE flag up, and have a general bar fight with security and anyone else.
Here I could see the need for security to stop spawning, and Agents to start showing up... obviously this kind of activity should not be seen, or tolerated by "Blue Pills".
Possibly adding these zones to other buildings like the Kalt Lobby, or other important places through out the game.
The only downside I can see to this is folks doing this to make a little zerg in the clubs, perhaps a cap would need to be coded in, and once that limit is reached the security guys turn into agents and clean house...
