Hey all,

  Well, I like to play MxO it's just, I lag every once in awhile, not badly, but it's annoying. Also, I want to at least keep my video performance on average, not highest frame rate. Does anyone know what things to select for the video and advanced video settings? Can you also tell me what to do for my performance?

 Computer Specs:

  512 MB

  2.16 GHz

  AMD athlon

  160 gb 7200 RPM

  Video card specs:

  NVIDIA GeForce 6200 (AGP)

  128 MB

Just from the info you posted there, someting which would probably make a big difference in your gameplay performance is increasing your RAM to 1GB.

Best thing to do for more specific info though (and maybe just simple updates which may help) would be to post your info as requested in this thread. SMILEY

Anyway, after a quick scan through it (will have a more detailed look when I get home from work tonight) the system doesn't look to bad, sticking another 512MB of RAM in for a total of 1GB would give you a boost though.

Noticed the other part of your post, for the graphics options, try just increasing to average detail at first and see how that runs, if it's ok try high detail and see how that goes. That way you can roughly see what level of detail to run it at and from there tweek the Advanced video config to aperformance which works well on your system.

Thanks for the assist Jeffers.  One other thing you may want to look into is disabling your background processes.  Try running in a cleanboot, as is described here.  Also, you may want to try disabling any anti-virus / firewall software you are running, and see if that helps at all.
