I've managed to set things right, once again. Yes, it all started with this bit of information a little bird told me... Yes, one with wings. Haha.
Anyhow, I was told that a Zion crew managed to get a lock on a witness of a murder at the Eber Casino, which took place quite some time ago. It turns out, the Bluepill who saw the whole thing, began noticing a little too much. You know, the usual jumping off of buildings and what-not. It's unsettling, isn't it? I don't know how he could sleep at night after watching a massacre occur only a couple of feet in front of a roulette table.

David Cohen, was his name, and chess was his game. No, it wasn't, it was just the way some of the Zionites decided to lure him... Captain Retroact, of the Indignant, managed to contact the Chessman who keeps his game in Tabor Park. I'm sure a deal was made, because David was waiting patiently for quite some time, for someone who didn't even show up in the first place to play. I just hate how Zionites think they can toy around with those still part of the system.
So, next thing I knew, he was headed to a nice little bar in Mara... Quite the walk, with all the street thugs and dangers... He had to pass the casino again -- poor thing. But, when he got there, he didn't waste any time finding himself a drink. Why not? He deserved it, especially after being set up by that *CENSORED* kid.

I was about to approach him, when that captain finally showed his face. Coincidence? I think not.

Confused as ever, David Cohen has to sit through this long speech and ridiculous set of questions... I'm surprised the guy didn't just wake up right there in his pod. Retroact eventually had to cut to the chase when he mentioned that he had heard about Cohen's connection to the casino through the papers... I would know, since I've read it so many times, Dana Gordon made no mention of David. But, sure enough, Retroact had managed to convince him to shove down the Redpill. In my eyes, that's a no can do.

Oh, and when questioned, I'm sure that Retroact will deny the fact that he had his operatives surrounded Cohen before he made his decision...

But, in the end, it didn't matter. Why? Because they wouldn't let the man speak for himself. On their way out, I made my presence known. I had to make Cohen aware, that his choice to take the Redpill, would be his greatest regret.

It might seem like this was a bit excessive, but did I have any other choice? Come, now... We all know what it's like when you've been awakened. The trauma, it's just so unnecessary. If anything, I saved him from a life of tragedy and paranoia... I made his death peaceful. A knife to the throat.

I gave a nice little smile to Retroact, and that was that. Since I noticed the clean up crew coming along, I had to make my way out. I didn't need anymore of an audience.

I can't even say how I thought this night went, except, I think it was for the better. It's not as if I got snagged into anything I couldn't handle, and after all, Special Agent Betts is gonna be on their case for a while unless they clear things up quick.
