Ask the PET a PET Storyline Question!

Yes, yes, I'm sure you already know what this thread was created for... I mean, we did steal the idea from a pretty well known guy.

The purpose of this thread is to provide answers to individual questions that the community may have about storylines/events the Vector Player Events Team have created. We know that there are players who attempt to get involved in our events, but don't know how to get caught up on what they may have missed or was not explained well enough through an event or event-recap.

As Rarebit's post, we will answer the first relevant question posted after a Vector PET member has replied. Yet, I'm sure that we'll be making many exceptions to that rule if we're bored and feel we're capable of answering the question completely.

Also, we'd like to thank those who have been involved in making and participating in our events so far. We will continue to do so as long as there is an interest in PET events on Vector.

Why do you typically post under your account instead of using bon's PET account?

I would like to know a little more about Equag or some sort of link to where I can read up about him.

Because bon's PET account is inactive.

At this point, we don't want too much known about Equag, other than he was the mysterious mastermind behind the operations of Reivinn and Equag. You'll get to know more about him in time, though, i'm pretty sure.

Well, I will deliver this, the bio for Equag and it tells a bit about what happened. This was our first event, besides some Changer of Hearts material, and we couldn't establish much to the community at that time.

Bio: Equag is from a much older iteration of the Matrix, the third iteration to be precise.

One of the first exiles to be imprisoned within the Merovingian's prison constructs, Equag gained considerable power and influence amongst those around him. Being as how the Merovingian did not enjoy the thought of a prisoner attaining that much power, he sought out to find an assignment that Equag and his subjects could work on for the time being.

The Merovingian was tired with the amount of Zionists getting in his way constantly, and thus, Equag's assignment was made clear. Equag and his exile associates would massacre a group of Zionists to present an idea: The Merovingian will stop at nothing to remove those in his way.

Surely enough, hours before the operation was set in place, and Zion believing they were working with the exiles to double-cross the Frenchman, Equag recieved a notice which foiled his plan completely. Zion had come to the Merovingian to help them find one of their most valuable captains. Due to the sensitive nature of their current alliance with Zion, Equag had sent Sprectre and Reivinn to assume the roles of exile attempting to overthrow the Merovingian.

In turn, they gathered both a Zion and Merovingian operative presence above a hotel residing in the Historic District. Upon this hotel, the Merovingian operatives released devestation on those within the area, using Pandora's Boxes. It is believed by many, that Sprectre and Reivinn were killed that evening, and Equag had never made an appearance.

These events led to the crew of the Indignant, led by Captain Retroact, to enter the Matrix in search of exiles such as Equag who have decided to wrong the warriors of Zion.

Once responsible for the stability maintenance of structures within the Megacity, Lucite is now a displaced program, attempting to establish herself amongst the competing forces within the Matrix. During her time as an exile within the Matrix, she has grown to become quite powerful, and seems as if she has no intentions in slowing down... Her intention, as revealed to operatives thus far, is to secure a place for herself within the Matrix. Her contacts have become vast, and she now has her hands within multiple organizations, unknown to their leaders.

Lucite, for some reason, is not aligned with the Merovingian. Much speculation has occured, but it is believed that someone within the Merovingian's structure made a deal with Lucite, and in turn, was rewarded with substantial $information. While she is not at odd ends with the Frenchman, she does seem to respect that there are many things within the Matrix that are in his possession.

Well, they've slowed down... We had to get some things sorted out internally so that we can push some things out properly...

In fact, you might begin to see some things happening before the end of the weekend, but only if you pick up on them...

Hmm... I believe you're asking whether she's the leader of a particular group of people, particularly the Cypherites?



Valeska appears to be a leading figure within the Cypherite organization.

It is unclear at this time which portion of the Cypherite organization she aligns herself with, but it seems as if she has her own band of operatives she works with and consults before making any difficult decision.

There are times when she can only be classified as a Sleepwalker, due to her rash reactions, and then others when she holds true to her cause... The cause of Cypher.
