Several days ago, TaeCross set off code bombs at four churches in the city. The bombs drove at least a dozen innocent civilians into shock. They woke up and drowned in their pods. There could be more that we haven't found. TaeCross died, too; his RSI, already fragile from his own awakening by a code bomb, was critically damaged by ground-zero exposure to his own weapons.
In the aftermath of this mass murder, I and other E Pluribus Neo operatives were accused of complicity with TaeCross' act. I'm through trying to respond to those ridiculous accusations. EPN will not be manipulated by those who wish to see the slavery of the System continue. What TaeCross did was wrong, and it was not condoned by EPN. We condemn his action, as we condemn all actions that take away anyone's freedom. E Pluribus Neo will continue to work for the day that everyone can choose to be free of the pods in which the Machines continue to hold 99 percent of humanity unwilling hostages under the sick guise of a "Truce."
If the Machines care so much about humanity, why aren't they working on a way to get rid of their dependance on human slavery? Ask your friendly neighborhood Agent that the next time you see him.
This was a tragic day, but it would be even more tragic if we allowed it to destroy Neo's dream of freedom for all. E Pluribus Neo will not rest until every man, woman, and child has been given the choice to leave the Machine prison, to stand on their own, two, real feet, and to be strong enough to see the truth, and live.
This will be hard. It will require sacrifices from all of us. Many of us will be killed fighting those who want to keep us enslaved. But even though there will be setbacks, even though we won't always be able to see the way, the very act of declaring our resistance keeps Neo's dream alive. Mankind will be free.
Unfortunately, some of those who call themselves members of E Pluribus Neo endorsed TaeCross' actions, even urging him on as he detonated his bombs. So that there may be no further confusion about this, so that such tragedies will never again be falsely attributed to E Pluribus Neo, we place the following officers on indefinite probation for their public endorsement of TaeCross' crimes:
Dezreki
Darminian
Phrack
There will be no more taking of innocent lives in Neo's name.
