I find that humans are easily distracted. More often than not, this can be turned to one's advantage. However, when it comes to my own employees, sometimes a few reminders of the truly important things are necessary.
What matters is power--in the right hands, for power is more than mere energy. A bolt from the blue is energy, force; but is it directed? Does it have a lasting effect? If not, then it may as well never have existed.
Power in the wrong hands is tragic. Such...inefficiency. But imbalances such as this do not last. Power has a way of finding those who know how to use it.
