Is it true that MxO is merging with another online game?

A bunch of "us guys" were looking at various screenshots of Ghost, Flood, some NPCs, etc. And we've been commenting that those models seem to be wearing Arisiki driving gloves. Now, these gloves come only in one color (a very sexy black), and are available (as near as I can tell) in all three body types. Plus, and perhaps the best point of all, they already exist as a player-wearable item, but only for females.
Since you've been cleaning up textures and working on items in your spare time (which is an awesome thing to do, by the way), is there any chance you'd work up a wearable version of those gloves for us?
The Hosh gauntlets are nice and all, but I can't help but feel like I'm playing hockey...

Seconded!
I oppose the request for the gloves to be looked at under the premise that females need to have some clothing items dug up from somewhere and polished first. The guys already got the Void shades. Now it's the girls' turn.
Which doesn't count as it's been in game as an available female model since the start. So if you want to use that as an argument, I can counter it with suits.
Well...they are supposedly working on something that was intended for launch and never made it in.
Er, yes. Back on topic, what about them screenshots Traxada posted?

Veils response was " EW!"

4) The answer to most "why isn't [feature] in the game" questions is "because we don't have the budget for it." So you might not want to waste your chance at an answer on a question like that.Yeah i can under stand this. But recenly I seen Lots of PPL leave the game becase its boring and there tired of the game. I play a lot of MMOs, my favorite right now it CoV. Why becase the keep up with content. Not just with Mission. With Ingame Idems temp powers, and speical content. they also alow us to download update before the go live, and down load them after we play. not before. Now NCsort newest thing is "Veteran Rewards program" Every three months i have a acctive account i get "STUFF".
Something i noticed with the Blooddrinker Mask, maybe someone could answer this for me as well. Is it the demon army trench but only black? The tribal designs on it looked similar. My question is this black version available? If its a complete different coat, would it be made as an available archive item down the road?Actually, the Demon Army trench is the Blooddrinker coat in red. ;)

Don't know. As far as I know it's still a fairly low-priority engineering bug in our bug tracking database.Oh, oh, real question... real question... aha!
Since i do love bringing this up every now and then, any word on the 'this item may not be given to...' formatting fix?

Thx for the dev fun on halloween night.
Are there any RSI skins that were meant to be put in but were never used? Like i never new the cat model exsisted.
As far as unique meshes go, the only one springing to mind at the moment is Link, who sort of got in recently as a training simulacrum. And the Twins didn't show up for a while, I guess. The cat I think was made specifically as the model that shows up when an object has appeared without a valid model, ie a "glitch," playing off the deja-vu scene in the first movie. Before we had the cat, the model used for that was a pigeon. Come to think of it, if I admin-clip over to a neighborhood mission contact and stay there without landing (at which point the server would tell my client to load the real object data), the contact is a floating pigeon.Thx for the dev fun on halloween night.

Oooh, didn't the blue sky security guards have a model that had both a hat AND bandana?
And Anome comes in both pre and post unlimit flavors.

Who, other than Cryptos and Agent Pace, has more than one model?Heh, looks like the others answered this better than I would have remembered myself.

What changes are you looking forward to make as far as execution of Live Events or story in general with the larger freedom of creativity you will be receiving in the story?
Uhh well that is by no means a certain thing yet. I didn't have much from Paul story-wise that needed to get done in 6.2, though, so with the next batch of crits I've been taking the opportunity to get back to some of the old fashioned Zion-Machine tension that hasn't really been seen since...oh, maybe since Morpheus was killed. Oh, and also working on defining the relationships between Zion/EPN and Machine/CYPH, which I think have been left too vague up to this point. Ah, also fleshing out some of the neighborhood mission contacts a bit more. What changes are you looking forward to make as far as execution of Live Events or story in general with the larger freedom of creativity you will be receiving in the story?

Is it possible we'll see dynamically scalable clothing in the future (such as that of the Demon Army Trench)?Probably not with actual high-end buffs, which I imagine is what you're thinking of, 'cause then we'd have a case where you could get one of the best items of clothing at some low level, and never have to upgrade, which would kill one of the major motivations that MMOs need to exploit, ie a hunger for better and better loot.

Funky avvy you've got there...
When can we expect to see the full picture in RSI?

Finally! Inter-org tension is the BEST thing about the storyline. And yeah, untill now, the relationships with the subgroubs have been (as far as I understood them):
Zion: military doesn't like epn for violating the truce / disobeying orders, but doesn't take action because the majority of the population of zion support them.
Epn: likes zion, but dislikes its relationships with the other organizations (abiding by the truce, making deals with exiles) and for not making a greater effort to wake people up and get neo's corpse back.
Machines: Against cypherite activites that endanger the system (sleepwalkers, enmascerdo, etc), Cryptos and Veil are wanted for questioning. Will re-insert humans who request it. Won't interfere with the Cypherites for the most part, unless they endager the system or truce. Won't assist the Cypherites either.
Cypherites: won't endanger the system or damage machine programs. Machinist redpills are sort of a grey area, but overall have not been hostile to them since the Gemaskeered / Enmascerdo days (who, according to Veil, were disobeying orders).

Yes, EPN and Cypherites do need their dose of story attention from time to time since they started out promising. Inter-org relationships or tension is an equally interesting aspect as elements (particularly threats) "from outside" in my opinion, and have already played some role in the past storyline -- glad it gets focus once again.

Rarebit, i know this may have been brought up before. I wanted you to check this post out and see if these changes to the Faction window could be implimented without totally making it a big change for you to work on.Heh I've been hounding the devs for that since the game started. I might have even asked it in here once. Seems that it's a low priority on the list if it's even there.
Also with the email, would an address book ever be implimented so we can make group emails a lil bit easier?

When will this game become remotely like the films?
The Combat is nothing like the films and it seems its more based of a horror film the Matrix with all the Zombies, Vampires etc, that was only hinted at in the film, not a dominant part of it.
Hmm...the ghostly Twins...the vampires and lupines in the movies/Enter the Matrix...the Oracle saying that vampires, werewolves, aliens, etc was all programs doing what they weren't supposed to do.
Yeah, that's a bit more than a hint.
