Welcome to the Mortal Kombat Fighting League. Do you have what it takes to be the champion? I think you'll find that this isn't for sissies. Remember, you're only a mortal. Once you die, there's no coming back*. The first tournament is Sunday, August 20th at 7PM CST. Sign up here if you think you're worthy...
Restrictions and Rules:
No Outerwear
No Hats
No Glasses
No Consumables
No (Enhanced or regular)
Wooden Stakes
Holy Water
Silver Bullets
No Outside Buffs
No Hyper-Jumping
No Mobius Code
No Guns!!!
The Brackets will be 16-man. Fights will go best of 3. If you lose a fight at any time in this league, you are gone forever*. Breaking any rule above, even putting on a hat accidentally during a fight, is a permanent ban from the league. Accidentally hyper jumping will be the same. All loadouts are allowed, but no guns. Using a gun=perma ban. The winner of the first 16 man tourney will be named Mortal Kombat Champion, and will have to retain his title at each tournament.
You ARE allowed to change your loadout, and even use an RSI hack during the tournament if it suits you.
I reserve the right to change any rule according to majority vote and also make judgement calls during the tournaments.
*If you do die, the cost is 10mil in $info to come back to life. The proceeds will be given to the winner of the next tournament.

anyways, to comment on what was said up above about knifer and hacker and ma.
Well hacker will get their you know what handed to em since CR 2.0. But i think why you see knife dominate Ma so often is because in a pvp situation You will see the ma turn on Hyper-dodge and usually have on some armored clothes, And when the occasional Knifer/ assassin comes along it leaves the field wide open for a major hurtin' on the ma.
But it will be interesting to see how it turns out in a 1 vs 1 fight when everyone knows what to expect and can ajust their buffs and clothes accordingly.

Also with some items of clothing not aloud, it may be a case of who gets inflicted by a status first .. ie dazed/staggered etc... this may lead to short fights :/
