Ok i was looking through my clothing list and because i am lvl50 i might as well go straight to the 40-50 range of clothing.
So what did i find:
Everything on the list gives the same buff so i have no real choice in what buffs i have but only a range on the clothing type.
What consequences will this have:
I think this will mean everyone, once again will have the same clothing which may bring it back to the luck game.
So can somebody please tell me that all of the clothing list is still under-development because at the moment they really do suck.

Agreed. Most of the buffs on "Enhanced" clothing are poor compared to the "Armored" or "Shielded" clothing.

As mentioned by HCFrog in the NPC Balance Discussion thread, a level 50 should be expected to have 200 points of damage resistance. Level 50 Armored/Shielded clothing each provide a +36 bonus to Ranged/Melee Resistance (Armored) or to Viral/Thrown Resistance (Shielded).

Outerwear, shirts, pants, and shoes all have armored/shielded versions. Hats, gloves, and glasses do not.

Assuming you have level 50 versions of these four items, you should have 144 points of damage resistance for two out of your four resistances, well below the "magic 200" mark that we are expected to have. Good luck getting your resistances over the 200 mark. SMILEY

was just checking and i seem to have Melee Resist at 180 and balistic resist at 187 so way above the 144 pts that you have , when i use things like adrenaline i get 240 balistic resist i think.

The level 50 armored and shielded clothes all have the same resistance bonus to their respective stats (armored: 36 to melee and ballistic resistance, shielded: 36 to viral and thrown resistance).

You're right there is not much choice in what BUFFS you want: Either shielded or armored.

And as you rightly noticed you can only chose what type of clothing TYPE you want.

BUT -- that does not mean that with the current QA setup everyone will look the same and the same clothing. We all may have the same BUFFS on us (shielded or armored) but we can chose what TYPE of armored or shielded clothing we want to wear.

As I realized this I went to QA, went through the marketplace and my code analyzer and looked through yellow conned level 50 clothing.

I was able to compile me both a complete level 50 armored AND shield cowboy like outfit (complete with cowboy pants, trench and hat). And it looked kinda decent.

I can only imagine that as time goes on, even more level 50 armored and shielded clothing will be discovered and as they will be shared on the marketplace and between players we will eventually see a wider range of these clothes in people's code analyzers.

Ye, there are hats and gloves out there with point on viral/thrown/melee/ballistic resistance.

Not in the reach of 36 pts, but 10-20 pts is achievable.

I'm having a problem finding buffed clothing at all. I will say this though, I just started to get back on the CR server. People have been helpful and provided me with some. My question is do the collectors work on the CR server yet?

Collectors don't work yet... I'm in the process right now of converting over all of the unique items.

Sweet, does this mean we will have to collect items and trade them again?  Since I assume that they will be on rapid decaying.  But if we have to it's not a problem.

No they will change dynamically and rapid decay wont happen again, they kinda learned their lesson from last time SMILEY

Also, it was a legacy system that wasnt intended with the reflow, IIRC

No rapid decay. They will just be converted over. Just like the regular clothes. You will have the same items, but they will have new buffs.

As rarebit says here.

I hope the new buffs are somewhat tied to the level requirement and the difficulty level as having high end clothing that sucks worse than the low end stuff is odd.
I also hope there is viable clothing that assists all the trees as stats and what becomes of them are more important so it's no longer a case of being able to magically switch to other trees and do well. You could end up only being a "not to shabby" hacker or MA depending on your style and will need said clothes to help you out or prop you up.
