I know this was mentioned in Beta, but seeming as CR2.0 is kind of a wishlist I thought It might be implemented. As you know with many team pvp tournaments etc going on (and it might add a little spice to general PvP business) is it possible for the devs to look at the following;

1. Team Battle's; where as teams from different org's con red automatically (or /pvp on the other servers) on the hostile server this doesn't seem to be a problem. However if the teams are in the same org (say 2 machine teams) and wish to fight each other in a team duel they have to duel each other.

2. Faction war's; well I know this isn't SWG, but I was a huge fan of having a war for a limited time with another Imperial faction. This was great stuff that provides content (RP side will be good) for the player's with little fuss. Again this can be feasable in both Hostile and non hostile server environments.

Of course the option for Team/Faction PvP has to be agreed by both parties (a simple command such as /teamduel /factionduel) and on the faction level has to be done by either the Faction Leader or a tier 1 Captain.

In closing the team/faction PvP is hopefully being looked at. I don't profess to be a programmer, but this will add serious content to the game, and possibly an opt in for splinter org's (they can agree to have Faction wars within their own org). For the nay sayer's amongst us it's simply something you can opt into. No one is forcing you to PvP.

To Rarebit or any other Dev out there reading this, is this feasable or even on the table for consideration at some point?

i used to play SWG... i loved the wars between guilds.....always red everywhere I agree..and I also agree with team battles

What I believe he means is team dueling(team pvp) and interorg PvP(faction pvp). 

Team dueling is being able to have two teams duel each other like individual duels but with more people involved. Same orgs or even faction not a problem.

Faction PvP would be if two factions from the same org want to have open warfare for a time. this would be bigger than just a team it would be the whole faction vs the other faction.

Both Ideas are good.

I simply can't expalin how devastated I was to hear that team duels never made it in LIVE. An option like that would have added so much more content to the current tournamnets. There have been work arounds, but it involved both sides flagging(Or for vector always flagged) and hoping that all individuals attending such an event respect those who are fighting, watching, and those who put the entire event together.

It's obviously not a easly coded set up, but would certainly increase the value of gameplay in soo many areas on soo many levels.

And the idea about Faction(s) vs. Faction(s) PvP is simply phenominal! And option to allow such content would take almost all the stress out of PvPing in regards to the storyline. There have been numerous occassins where players involved in PvP with storyline have gotten completely fed up with and left because of the players who care nothing for the storyline (or community for that matter).

I'd like to see a good faction vs faction where two leaders can 'declare war', where from once it's declared by both faction leaders all members of the faction are able to be killed by the members of the enemy faction.

This could last until one of the leaders types a command to surrender. That way the faction vs faction battle would go until one faction gets sick of the war and gives up, which could be days/weeks/months from its start.

It would also allow for RPers to be able to be "flagged" at all times to other RPers, but not to the normal pvpers. 

Just my opinion on it though. Either eay, loving the ideas of team duels and faction duels finally being implemented. I'll cross my fingers.

Great idea, and I was actually saddened when I found out that the team duel option as given in the manual wasn't in the game.

I'd also like the option to have one player versus multiple players.  As currently the only 50 in my faction, I think it would be fun to take on a group of slightly lower levelled faction mates all at the same time.

According to Walrus, CR2.0 is now code-freeze on new features, as they have switched gears to polishing it up and busting out the can of Raid for the bugs. Sadly, I don't think it's do-able just this time around SMILEY

But, there's always a possibility later XD

As far as I'm concerned that wasn't a bad response, the Dev team is already up their chins with CR 2.0 mess and I can see how working on this would hinder that process, but that doesn't mean they're not interested after CR 2.0. So Jiinx, that just gives us all time to try and formulate how best to implemnt this from the 'end-users' perpesctive and hope that we give them plenty of feedback if they are interetested in it in the forseeable future.

I'm working on a few different ideas for UI's for development roundtable, I'll see what I can do about a panel with this option and see where it goes.

Agreed. Multi-person duels would be awesome like 1 v 1 v 1, etc.

But the whole concept of team battles and faction battles would be an extremely nice addition to the game. Being a major RPer, I know that grudges can form within an org that you want to resolve outside of just one on one duels.

pvp means player vs player, pve is player vs environment=you vs npc.

flagged means, your organization flag shows, and those of opposing organizations will show up red, like if your a Zionist, you will see Zion next to your name, and you will see Machines and Mervs that are flagged the names will show up in red. 

Kind of like if you go to a construct, lets say Yuki, your a Zionist, the Machine and Mervs that come into the construct at the same time can attack you.  Constructs automatically flag you as pvp, when you leave the construct, you are no longer flagged.  Also when you are flagged for PvP, you will see a gun show up next to your face in the upper right corner of the screen.

check your color settings in the advanced options.  Also if your on Vector, its a different story cause everyone there after level 15 is already flagged for PvP.
