Glad i got some days holiday this week.

I popped out of a HL first time yesterday and became instant-stunned and killed.
Sucked of this i logged off and startet a session on Testserver. Mara Central was prettiy empty like always and i thought: " Let´s try the Creston Hideout . I need a challenge today"
There arrived i met some guys from other live servers and we went down together. Suddenly a dev 9mmFu popped up. It was NoRepro. And he followed us down and watched how we fight and was very interested in direct feedback. Later HCFrog came too and watched the action from a distance. With several conversations on the way down it took a while to arrive at the last hall. After we cleaned out the hall we discussed a while and they have been interested in more Feedback. Well we haven´t been enouh for a Pandoras Box 4 so ...what they did? They let spawned PB4 Mobs with different levels and watched how we were able to manage that.

While i haven´t seen a dev since....uhm....Assassin Event. It was biggest fun i had for a long time.

HCFrog sent at the end a mail with all 4 Boxes to test with later. Very Happy

My thoughts:

- The Creston Hideout is a nice challenge for 4 or 5 people with different layouts. If there haven´t had a healer near, i guess i would have died at 2 or 3 points where i took a bit to much attention.

- My feeling on PvE combat is. It doesn´t matter if the mob is lvl 52 or 50, but more how many are shooting at me while i have one in interlock. That means the last hall feels not harder then the way down to the hideout. Too easy for a final challenge if you ask me.

- I found out the damage of stakes, water and silverbullet is influenced by the active tactic, nice. But they are still useless because i something less then 100 points of damage. How is the damage calculated? And... while i´m asking this. Wich kind of damage are they? Why not relate it on awakened lvl + tactic used? Then they can be used as nice interlock-feature for a unwanted interlocked hacker.

- Hackers have more then one problems:
  - Their damage is tweaked down a lot... ok cool. They are supporter class now.
  - But support is also less effective then before because stun is timer is short, despoiler and destroyer timer is a lot shorter.
 - That means they do have to put out more hacks in a time to support.
 - After 5-6 hacks the IS is empty. Their skills in close combat are not that usefull to do a support when IS is down. ...Run/ Jump out. Sit down. IS regen. Jump/Run back into the trouble.
- And at the end with all this penalties in damge, timers and debuff effectivity it´s you may have IS down, and no hack hit, > no support.

 - same for Force Multiplier
 - I know Force Multiplier can´t hold their non-stop upgrades for long , because the IS reload in combat is that low, just the one or two running upgrades like combat Aura cost a lot IS.

- My solution. Increasethe IS-cost on all Specials a lot... yes , MAs and Gunner too ....but also increase the IS-reload in combat. That would mean all RSI woudn´t have that big special-attack-output at a short time. But for long-term action it would be better.

- All hacker classes aren´t fun now. To many penalties in the new system.

- Upgrade stacking is still there. You can stack melee accuracy bonuses (only) . Load Karate, Aikido and Kung Fu and check the bonus tab... you´ll see.

- That means the new system as a uber-class again. Because of the big penalties on hacker the Operatives don´t have to load Viral Deflection stuff. and can put everything in a mixed template and stack accuracy BONUS. For someone who just loaded only ONE Grandmaster that means a problem.

- Very sad thought i have on the community is. Why does anyone really complain on the CR 2.0 hacker penalties? ...Simple those Ballistas never wanted to be a Ballista. They want to win. Remember those suckers who ran around as rifleman to PWN 4LL 1N C0MB4T after the Testserver gone live and it was known as uber template? That´s why anyone play the hacker anymore and give enough feedback. I heard people say stuff like:  Hacker is nerfed now.... I don´t care. I always wanted to be Duelist, Gunman because that´s MATRIX.

.....well i stop here because i became very sick last night and have a terrible headache :smileysad:. Maybe i go on outputting thoughts later or tomorrow.

Ah. One thing. Thank you to NoRepro and HCFrog for this awesome attention to the community.

Unfortunately I couldnt be there last night so thanks for the recap

Is this a bug or not?  Ive never tried stacking loadouts like that so maybe thats why you guys find pve so easy.  Have you tried with just kungfu and a gunman build?

Yeah I should have followed u all, but I made the chose to see how far I could make it on my own. Ha only to see ReuvenMeSSiah run around the corner with 10 to 15 npcs behind him. Needless to say we both died.  It was a good time though, me and Reuven made it to the second lvl and only died because I attacked a group of 6 lvl 51s. When I thought there was only 3.

Apparently its not a bug that bonuses stack.  I might have to take back everything I said about npcs being balanced considering I wasnt stacking abilities before.

Just remember that these items don't use IS.  Save a few and see if they make a difference in those times where IS is an issue.

On the plus side, we ran into some good bugs.

I particularly want to thank you, Ywie, for Dev Fielding me, since I ran into a bug where neither the Dev field nor the "Stun Immunity" timer went down, thus rendering me totally incapacitated until Th3ra was able to hit me with a sweep.

Frog, if you're reading this, that means I did finally get unfrozen. SMILEY

U wanna try going to the zero one archive and taking out the taskmaster. Hes 15 lvles above me and I can still take him out by myself.

Either I have found a very powerful way of distributing stats or I guess karate GM is kickass
