I think what we're seeing here, both from the Cypherites and from Anome/Zion, is what happens when "being right" becomes more important than doing what's right. Each side was so wrapped up in its own agenda that they lost sight of what was really important -- what was best for Robert Kendell. If both sides would have backed off and let the man think, this tragedy might have been avoided.
