Hacker (ranges) go broken...

Had this several times now... i don´t know why or how but my area-attack-range goes down to 3 m or so and rolls go that crappy i hit a lvl 30 as lvl 50 with 1 of 4 hacks.

After i did a /loadlo something else and then a /loadlo hacker everything is ok and area-ranges are back to 16 m and more ....for a while.

Maybe a conflict between abilties in my mixed layout of destroyer (partly), artillerist, arbalest (partly).

I have a reoccurring situation where Hacker just plain doesn't work. I can target  an NPC and no damage can be afflicted,  and the animations are nonexistant.

I dont understand your sig dave but its rather humious :smileywink:

The only thing i can think of for Rexxhavukk, is to make sure you have
'Hacker Style' turned on, i have had alot of problems when shooting and
hacking, since shooting guns would switch you back to 'Self Defense'
style.



Sorry dave, but i am not sure what your problem would be, my rolls etc.
seem to be consistant with Howitzer/Artillerist/Despoiler.

When you get hit with certain abilities like remove upgrade or an ability like that, that affects your loaded buggs. Your howitzer, ballista etc. is turned off. The icon still shows its running. But it is not. You have to turn it off by shift clicking. Reactivate the ability and voila your back in bussiness.

Sry for the sarcasm but it seems people totally skipped over my post. Its happened to me. I know what your talking about. I know its no fun. Its a bug.

It´s simple... i´m standing at a few Meters from the target do a code
nuke. Hackerstyle and  Artillerist Upgrade seem to run. Since CR 2 the
range is 16 m from target and you see much bigger damage animation
fitting to the new area ranges.



But when my hacker broke the range animation is not larger than around
3 m from target. I´m standing in Uriah South hacking these lvl 2 there
and there are 2 - 3 guys standing relativly near together. But only the
target get a hit ... ergo: range is broken...



same in pvp. I was in Interlock with a lvl 50 spamming artillerist
areas on him. In freefire a lowbie around lvl 25 or so was shooting me
a few meters from me. But after 8 to 10 area hacks in interlock this
lowbie had no damage.
