It's actually pretty sad when you look at it, and see that the QA (unstable) test builds of the games are actually providing more fun and attracting more players than the live versions we are actually paying to use! That just screams that the devs need to work on making the live servers enjoyable - even at the expense of the QA becoming a ghostworld until another patch needs testing.
We've had our fun these past few weeks, but it really must not continue after the event, to the extremes we've seen this last week.
I think this week was important for the devs to do. They had a lot of people who were still iffy about the upgrade and people were reluctant to jack in to QA because it was basically dueling at mara so a week of crazy was needed to get people jacking in regardless of their original opinions of the upgrade. This provided a stress test, new situations to find bugs and got everyone to see how much fun you can have with the upgrade.
It may mean nothing but a small observation I've seen and I'm sure others have, is that there are a lot less complainers and a lot more pro CR people now.
I expect after Tuesday, QA will go back down to small numbers again after severely increasing over the last week and it'll stay like that till the next big update which hopefully the devs can give us soon :smileyvery-happy:
The ideas of the last few days' antics were stress testing related. While of this has been fun - it was also a server/game mechanics stress test to ensure CR2 was ready.
I think it has been grand the attitudes and willingless to listen on the dev's part. Even though it was a stress test, to be able to talk to them, request things and they actually happen has been grand.
And today believe it or not - everyone seemed well-adjusted to CR2.0 and there wasn't any complaining going on

GJ devs!

Well said.
