Hey gang. I myself have found it hard to break into the roleplaying scene on Syntax. I know its there, and I've had brief encounters (mesajeri, corvix) but I think we could save alot of Mara C idle time by compiling a list of Roleplayers here on the forums that we can buddylist in game, so that we can track down and organize casual and non-event roleplay.
Also, any 'RP' hotspots would be good to list also. We should figure out a certain Hardline, Club, or even just a bar or library that could fall in as the 'official' roleplay capitals, to hang out and find other players looking to go In character for light roleplay or heavy campaigns.

Tabor West is usually a good spot for some decent RP... Or just contact someone ingame and meet wherever you want of course (that's what I prefer)...

Find most any member of No Exit, we're always looking for more good players to RP with. Treius, dBard, Crisisthought, Aiseki, and Prisoner are your best bets.

Wouldn't call myself a roleplayer, but I write. Sometimes more on the order of "fan fiction," you could say. But if there ain't nothin left to do, why not, hasn't stopped me in the past.

You'll soon find that your character will be far better off in the Matrix with multiple loads available at will. You can only get so far with a single load.

No.. I use the loadouts I like. Which is basically 2, with a third one I use every once in a blue moon. If I need different styles for something, I'll call on friends. And rarely am I doing something that needs other loadouts. I've never felt a need for martial arts. The only loadout I'd have to call on for something would be ability maker. And if I can't find someone who has it, then heaven help me if I go and buy the ability myself.
I can get as far as I like with the loadouts I have. Spy is my primary, and always will be.
I'm here for the roleplay, not the fighting. And yes those overlap many a time, but so what if I'm not a good fighter? My character isn't meant to be the best, or the badest, or even very good at all. So what if I can't touch an agent? I'll shoot him anyway. So what if I can't stand a chance against you? I'll take my defeat with dignity.

Nah, not strange, just different. Most people start off with a good MA base, or hacker. That makes lvling easier. Going spy makes missions alittle slow imo.

ok Tengu....don't know how well spy does against him, never had those skills when I was that level. Shall try them on taskmaster (weakest pile of junk in the world) and see how they go.
