How about putting it on a timer,so from the second you press the keys to hyper jump, a tiemr bar would appear and would be interuptable. The higher the HJ skill you have, the less chance you have at being interupted, thus making hyper jump items (such as berrets) more usefull.
Just a thought.

I already did a CCR about the hyper jump timer about 3 months ago, No
reply but they might stick it in at christmas....hopfully anyway.
Im getting annoyed of people doing it.
I have posted about this before but the general reaction was "just deal with it" you can't really understand why it is so annoying until it keeps happening to you time after time... I appreciate the idea....
another idea for hyperjump....to make it an attack outside of interlock
for MA's? MA's dont really have any attack outside of interlock so that

I brought this idea up on teamspeak tonight actually, basically the
idea was to have it be a skill that you level just like now that when
you land it would cause a damage field. Nothing huge, but it would
cause some grief to people who get hit by it . Also, there would be a
timer to effect its use. Having people jump from roof to roof is great,
but there has got to be a limit. Why have subways when you can hyper
jump like a madman.
So to sum it up, damage on landing, and a timer so as to stop people from using it so much.
