Nerfing Hyper jump

The purpose of the interlock immunity is so that players can escape multiple interlock sessions. Taking away hyperjump would only defeat the purpose of that.
As you listed, there are ways to prevent them from jumping away already. So why nerf the ability.
2 things to consider:
- What goes up must come down.
- If you cant catch it, then practice, practice, practice.

mad because someone rolls out and then Hjs? get used to it.

FFS People should learn to watch their backs, not be COMPLETELY immune to a first attack, no matter how tough the attacker is.
EDIT: OK, so it's gonna log an
edit even if I don't change anything (just thought about being less
sweary, but sod it), so I put this here.

Does your nerfing Hyperjumping include the elimination of the exploit for the HyperJump Grandmaster tree?
Mrkaishi Head of Tissue Procurement for The Endless
Jumping away to safety is a requirement in this game, if you simply avoid it, it makes you a weaker player, nerfing it would take away that element, and hackers alike would simply become more powerful....
Garutachi said it best, you can stop it or keep practising....
Ive had ppl hyperjump away from me, but i still catch them

im sure u never have rolled out to hyper jump
ElecTech wrote:This is something I can't stand....people who hyper jump the moment they roll out of intrlock or start to get hit by hackers or anything like that.......
Hyper Jump should be nerfed..... A counter like the one that stops your opponet from intrlocking you should be implemented..... so that when they are in combat.....there ability to hyper jump is limited ...... That would nerf hackers, snipers, mkt,etc...... cause once they die there VT becomes what 387 which max VD beat......
and you would no longer have the roll out hyper jump.....they would become target practice for guns
Till Then ...Clamor....Intrlock...Direct Fire....Full Auto Redux....Intrlock and body shot....
((stun, intrlock, enrage, enrage, stun, intrlock, reduce movement ability ((which nerfs hj))))
Hackers beware...
Thanks for listening please post your thoughts on this....it would really help balance the game

So... You want to run from mission area to Mission area and have to go up stairs to get on top of buildings?
Or, have you not noticed because you just stand in one place and shoot people all day long?

Edit: Oops my bad, nothing to see here, move along....
Maybe it should be nerfed so certain players cant abuse it. Ex. Jump shoot, jump shoot........
ROLLTIDE spoke the word: Abuse of HJ.
Some people are simply annoying cause they abuse the HJ. They jump for no reasons and then come back to do another one attack or they come back after they suicided then do an attack in order to do damage then HJ/suicide/come back/attack/jump you know the procedure. Lately the tend of HJing has gone over from the Zionites to the Mashines. (other trends have gone from the Mashines to the Zionites though, like AOE healing)
Nearly the same abuse is with normal jumping. It prevents interlocking effectively (except because of lag or really precice timing). Of course ppl can be rooted, etc to get down to earth but not all classes have that luxory and when it gets to defeat an enemy with the numbers it's not justified that people are able to do this.
That would nerf hackers,snipers, mkt,etc......
considering hacker and sniper are OUT of IL, and made to hit you outside IL... why would u nerf someone who has little chance in IL, and now you wana nerf his only ability to do damage? i see... becuase playign a sniper is easy already right? with the random conealment drops and so on? AND you want to nerf mkt further? i think the class has been beaten with the nerf bat to black and blue status.just my 2 cents

YOU FRIGGIN NEWB!!!!

Now, a far better idea would be to remove that f***in STUPID evade bubble, I mean *CENSORED* is that sh*t about?

It would scare away the new players. If you're anywhere below level ten, the M.O.B.s will just gang up on you at one point or another despite how careful you are, and they often have some unfair advantages over us no thanks to stupid bugs [i.e. Handguns shooting from > 20 m away]. And then there's also "Force mid-levels to Westview" in which everyone is ten levels above you. Remove the shield, you screw the newbies over.
I bet you didin't want interlock nerfed when you were lvl 16, unless you were on some Candy land server.
*Rare applause*
Hyperjump is what it is.... There is no way as a hacker I am going to take on a FULLY BuFFED MA with incredible Viral Defenses.... That is tantamount to suicide....
And neither will a MKT... That is just plain nuts.
Keep them from HJing by one of the following ways: Root,Stun, Pacify, or Powerless
Easy solution, put it on a cooldown... wouldn't eliminate it, but would reduce it's use if it had say a 30 second or a minute cooldown.
30 seconds is too long. It's pretty much like the hacker tree in the very old combat system.
