I need help... Please.... Text Display

When i start up the game i cant read any of the writing in the menu or during game play. Details, Tip's and mission objective come up blank or else the words are scattered an incomplete.  My comp specs are. 1.10Ghz, 512mb of ram, Nvidia Gforce4 Ti 4800 SE ( i Think..), 300Gb Hard drive.

update your video drivers and lower the texture detail level in the graphics settings

We have hear that, for GeForce 4 and below cards, using an older driver, such as the 61.77 video drivers, helps with missing/warped/colored text problems.
