I havent played this game in a few months(though i just checked my account, and according to it i never canclled, even though i KNOW i did), and i no longer use direct connect. Now i have wireless.
My problem is this: i can obviously get on the internet since im typing this, but when i try to log onto the launchpad i get the following message: Error: Could not initialize internet connection. You must be connected to the internet to play. This application will now close.
My wireless adapter is a: Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter.
Any help would be welcomed.

i us wireless too, hmmm....have you thought about what ports you have open? i cant remeber what they are, but that could be a reason.  I remeber having to enable certain ports to play...they are on here somewhere i think, knowledge base perhaps?

I just checked mine, i enabled port 10000 AND 11000 AND 80, all tcp.  AND 11000 UDP. you may have to do this with yur router, just a thought anyway, hope it helps a little SMILEY

In general, you can set up "Port Triggering" to allow our games to connect. To do so, you need to set up the start and end port of the Trigger range to be 7000, and for the Triggered range, use the start port 1023 and the end port 65535. This is for both TCP and UDP packets. A good source of information on Port Triggering is http://www.portforward.com but you may want to contact the router manufacturer or your ISP for more specific information.
