Hmmm i dont really know what to say about CoV. I want to like it, but its basicly CoH just you can be evil this time.

I logged in for about 20 mins.I dont like the controls very much, and
it kinda sucks that to even get to do anything in the game you have to
do a mission or 2. I was just running around that prison thing

But you can send a tell to darkcleric, and we can run them missions, which are actually fun, and not repetitive.
BTW, you can change the controls, and CooliceT, you should try to
optimize your graphic settings in the game itself, they dont exactly
default very pretty.

yeah i fixed it.
i ran it in safe mode. then adjusted in game.
Noobish question:
When logging in which username and password do you use? I don't
remember making one, but I do remember when downloading it that I had
the option of using my IGN account for something. I've tried that
username and password (which I would have used for the game anyway) and
it doesn't work.
Is there somewhere else that I need to sign up?

Step By step process:
Once you download your copy of the stress go to your email you signed
up in and it has your cd key. It also should have a link to Ncsoft so
you can create your stress test account. If you dont already have
a Ncsoft account create on and then add game. When you add game
it will ask for your CD key and your set to go.

You copied your CD key though from the file planet page right? If
not all you really need to do is register under another email and get

Yup, I copied the CD key from when I downloaded the game. I went to ncsoft.com and made an account and got into the game fine.
I found the controlling to feel awkward. MxO is the only computer game
I've played for more than 10 minutes, so I guess anything different
than its controlling will feel weird to me. I didn't like having to use
the mouse (or E and Q) to change the direction that I'm running, but I
guess all of those things just take a little getting used to.

Well i changed all he controls to match my MxO ones, so I would recommend doing that until youget them just how you like.

I dont think i'll buy this one just yet, maybe in the future...but
nothing too exciting yet. It's not like MxO's beta with all the
events and craziness, that's what really sold the game for me. COV just
doesnt seem too different or interesting.

Well I think i'll buy it, you can create a Base, change the colors and looks of your clothing, fly hehe...I get to be Storm YAY!

The only thing i liked about CoH was costume design and it was
virtually lag free, but CoV is about as laggy as MxO. Hopefully they
get it ironed out.

O gawd it's taking forever to download grrrrr. it really seems like it jam packed with content tho...I mean you can change the color of your clothes and every detail of your body.
You guys should have downloaded Fileplanet Download Manager. It
made downloading so easy and it will speed up your connection.

When clicked to download it you should have gotten a CD key. If you
forgot it go to the email address you registered with to get the stress
test. Next go to NcSoft and create a master account no credit
card needed. Then click add game and put your cd key in.

that's what I was thinking too. I may check it out when I get outta work...just to say hey to another MMO
Its not corrupted, it just doesnt like winrar, in the directions it says extract it with winzip 9.0. Or you can use whatever the hell extractor comes with windows, just dont use winrar.
I must not have the spae to download it hehe, so i'm going to just buy
