Karate Master Attributes post Combat Revamp

Please forgive my ignorance.  I have been searching the forums for the information I am seeking but seem to only come up with pre-combat revamp statistics.  I am wishing to be a Karate Master/ Pathonogist or a Karate Grandmaster.  Not sure yet for I am quite new and still getting my feet wet. :smileyhappy: On various websites and this forum I read that my starter attributes should have been like so Belief: 5, Perception: 11, Reason: 8, Vitality: 8, Focus: 8.  So I made a character with these stats and jacked into the game.  Well now I am led to believe that Belief is absolutely vital now to any melee class and so my question is; Should I re-make the character (is only lvl 5) and if so what is the truth on Karate attributes/stats post combat revamp.  I kindly appreciate any feedback.

Before the revamp it was Perception and Focus that were the attributes for a ma now its Focus and Belief. You can be an effective pathonogist too because Focus also upgrades your viral stats but theres also Reason which you might want to level up a bit aswell. You can start a new character if you want to so the 11 and 5 are somewhere more suitable but you don't have to because eventually you can fix it if you level up.

Yeh, some say attributes play a vital role now but a difference of 3 or 4 isn't going to gimp your character, this isn't RF this is MxO and the only way to be weak is to join zion, sorry I meant don't be a noob by joining zion, sorry SMILEY  no the only way u can be crap is if you fight in large zergs because you never learn to fight without that element behind you so when you do approach that 1v1 you suck which is why I own

This is kinda what I'm looking for info on also.  I am a noob, so forgive my ignorance (just got the game 2 days ago). 

What I'd really like to do is 'max' aikido (aikido grandmaster)?

 What attributes would you suggest?

I was thinking I should concentrate on equally Belief, Focus, Vitality?   Yes, no?

And also, if I 'gimp' my character is there a way to 'respec' later?  Thanks!

first of all I would like to point out, NECRO!!!!! SMILEY

ok now onto something proper, if your going MA then you need to get all 3 tree's, a tree at Grandmaster fills about 60-70 mem points depending on what Awakened abs you got loaded, so you need KF and Karate to give you extra passive buffs and so forth, secondly you put yer stats so they max out beleif and Focus with the rest in vitality.

and you can't gimp yer character, there is a way you can reset yer stats to their original, but it's *CENSORED* annoying unless you have ranged attacks.

Thanks for the info.  One more thing - why does the description of perception say its need in MA?  If it is not true, why don't they change it... it is very confusing for new players!

Yeh, they need to update that! lol Perception was for MA in the old combat system.

you can do a healer/Aikido Master, you'd need to load like an area heal, although the style switches whenever you heal so you gotta be hitting that Aikido button as soon as the heal is over.
